For the money, this dress is fabulous. Does need a good steaming as it is very wrinkled. Fits a little big, but with the back laces tied tight and a big renaissance type belt it lays on the shoulders perfectly. I am a 42ddd 5’8” and 203lbs. So I got the 3xl it is big and I could have probably been ok in the 2xl. But I am making it work as this will be a Halloween costume I am ok with it. Is missing the neck pieces. But over all would definitely buy again in a different colour.

This is a beautiful and well made dress. This dress will be worn at a ball. Fit is perfect.

I was shocked at how nice this dress is considering the price. I usually sew my dresses but ran into a pinch, this time, and bought it in a 'last ditch' effort to get something halfway decent done. This dress is actually amazing for the price. The cloth is thick...not expensive cloth, but still not bad. The seams are well sewn and the fit is totally okay. Plus, the drawstring back is a lifesaver on sizing. I ended up switching up the black areas for green (for a Christmas thing) and am more that happy at how this turned out. Awesome.

I have to say that I love this dress! I really like the looks of this dress and I bought it for 2 upcoming events. On Galveston Island they have right around Christmas time an event called Dickens on the Strand. Everyone comes dressed in turn of the century clothing and its like a big street party and is so fun. The other one is one of my clubs is having a huge 100+ Christmas party and we have turn of the century backdrops that we will be taking pictures in front of, the men are wearing tails and top hats and the women are wearing dresses like this. This dress is perfect for that. The reason for the 4 stars is they run a little small and even though I ordered it according to the size chart it did not fit correctly and I had to return it for a bigger size. The new one will arrive the day before the fist event so I am glad i ordered in time to find out it did not fit so I could get the replacement. The second thing is the back laces up, you have to lace it to close the dress. It does offer some flexibility there because there is a flap of material that covers the back to be laced over, but it definitely takes a helper to lace up the back and tie it off. A zipper on the inside of that back flap would help immensely, or a zipper running down the side of it so the back laces could stay intact when putting it on. The ribbon that is supplied with the dress is pretty short so I will have to get a longer ribbon. When I put the ribbon on the back of the dress just tight enough to try it on I only had about 10" on each end to tie it off with. I wanted the wrinkles out so I took it and spritzed it with water and put it in my clothes dryer on low heat for 10 minutes and it was like a miracle! Almost all the wrinkles fell out of it on the first go, just to be sure I did it a second time, spraying the water on the last visible wrinkles and then the low heat dryer for another 10 minutes. I was very happy about that, since I did not have to iron it! It is pretty long, I am 5'4" and it was dragging on the ground. I will be wearing boots and I did order a hoop less crinoline petticoat to make it pouf out and I am hoping that will help lift it off the ground a little bit. I really wanted to get a hoop petticoat but at the Christmas party we are having a sit down dinner and thought that would be pretty awkward to try to sit in and have dinner in a crowded venue. It seemed well made besides that back lace thing and after I put it in the dryer it was all fluffed up and wrinkle free it was gorgeous. My friends that I have shown the picture to all love it, now I can only hope the larger size gets here on the expected date. Order up ladies, do not go by the size chart....

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The dress looks nothing like the advertising pics. My daughter took her time in searching for a dress to play with and she fell in love with this one. She was so disappointed when we got it. It looks like they took a long skirt and just sewed the outer layer onto it, meaning, it looks like she’s wearing 2 different pieces. The dress doesn’t flow right. There are loops missing in the back and very few of the existing loops actually line up. She decided to keep it because it’s just a dress-up dress for around the house and within 2 hours of sitting in it, there was already a 4” wide rip in it. Either the tear was there and we didn’t see it, or it tore from just being sat in. The dress is still very big on her so it wasn’t torn due to being too tight. Overall, the price is way too high for the poor quality. If she had patience, I’d return it and get a better one but she doesn’t want to wait for another dress. Don’t waste your money!

Dress was okay overall. The material and style were nice, and the neckline was flattering. However, the dress was long for someone who is 5’7” without heels. I ended up returning it because the dress arrived missing the back ribbon/tie piece, which is an essential part of the design. Since the dress has a corset-style fit, I was unable to properly close or adjust the dress without the ribbon.

I wore this as a guide for haunted tours for the local history museum. It is so well made and I received a lot of compliments on it! I am quite busty (40DD), it laces up the back so the fit can be adjusted, the XXL fit perfectly! I put a hoop skirt under it and it was quite full. I might buy another color for next year!!

This dress was perfect for the event. Bought one of those butt poof crinoline things to go with. Looked good for time period.

This dress fits just as the size guide states. Material is a light to medium satin. It is a floor length and can be worn with or without a petticoat. Without a crinoline or petticoat it will drag on the floor but still looks amazing if you do not want the fullness in the skirt. Stitching and fit are excellent. The corset style lacing makes it easy to adjust to fit. Excellent gown.

Buena calidad, la talla correcta. Yo pedí L pero trae cintillas en la cintura y lo pude ajustar. Le puse una crinolina para hacer lucir más el vestido. Lo usé para concursar para Halloween.

Es un vestido muy bonito, tal cual esta en la imagen mi hija pesa (72 kilos) le quedo la talla L, pero creo igual le puede quedar a alguin con unos pocos mas kilos.
