Love this shampoo! It removes buildup and truly revives my scalp. I use it 1-2 times a week, and it definitely reduces scalp itchiness. It also smells nice and minty without being overwhelming. A little bit goes a long way which I love as well!

I love this stuff. It’s not super gritty to leave my scalp irritated, but the charcoal really exfoliates and clears up the buildup on my scalp. If you don’t have access to prescription shampoo for dandruff/buildup, this is a good option to try as a replacement! I have both. It really helps during the summer months when there’s a lot of sweat. Cleans my scalp really well!

My favorite shampoo, favorite Briogeo product. It smells so nice, not too strong, almost like mint and cocoa powder? It smells natural. A little goes a long way, you can make a pot of it last! The lather is nice and rich. Leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean and fresh but not totally stripped. I use it every few times I wash my hair in between regular shampoo. Highly recommend!!

I notice a decrease in the itchiness of my scalp for about 5 days then it starts again. I've been washing my hair only once/week over the last few years and using this product pushes me to narrow that schedule. I've used it 5X and have just about enough to shampoo once more. (So that means a 6 times/use for me of this tube.) I'm not using it to lather my hair, which is thick but short. I massage a generous amount on my scalp, back and front, then use a shampoo bar for my hair. This tube (easily seen) is not as large as most tubes of toothpaste) and is the consistency of tooth paste. The texture is gritty as is mentioned on the tube, and not a pretty color and it doesn't have a nice fragrance. So generally, it is not a pleasant experience. I am hoping it will have a longterm positive effect on the itchy feeling of my scalp. I'm willing to put up with those negative factors if it does. I've tried several other shampoos to address the problem and they have helped but not remedied the problem of a dry, itchy scalp. Ruth Jackins P. S. I absolutely love this shampoo & scalp scrub. I have gone through 2 of the smaller sizes, and I was tired of waiting for replacements when I was ordering directly from Briogeo. The product has a refreshing mint scent, that really adds to the experience. The mistake I made when I first used this shampoo was using too much product. I want to savor the experience not waste it. I was expecting it to lather up like your run of the mill shampoo. That isn't going to happen with the Scalp Revival shampoo. The way I use it now is different from the suggested method. It works for me and I'm sure you will adjust the method to suit your needs. Starting the night before, I use hair oils to strengthen and soften my hair. I also use dry shampoo on a regular basis, which builds up in my hair. This shampoo handles that with out a problem, but I like to wash my hair with a traditional shampoo first followed by the Scalp Revival. This way I can extend enjoy the experience if using it and really concentrate on massaging it into the scalp. Without being worried that I covered every inch of hair. I can go 3 days between shampoos without experiencing any greasiness. I am happy about having a pump in the larger size. It is easier than sticking your fingers in the tub. I was èconstantly losing quite a bit of product. It is thick and somewhat slippery. Plus I am always spillin things. After you have thoroughly scrubbed your scalp just rinse well and follow up with conditioner. You are then all set to move on with your day knowing that you have treated your scalp kindly and you won't need to shampoo again for at least 2-3 days. With the 32 oz. size you won't need to purchase any more Scalp Revival for a very long time. Enjoy!

It seems to work. It’s a bit hard to use straight out of the tube, but mixes well with shampoo. I used it initially two days a week, but quickly went to every Friday. Now just use as needed. It is costly, but needing it infrequently is worth it to me. Takes little room in my pool shower bag too.

I LOVE THIS BECAUSE I HAVE A VERY GREASY SCALP AND I USED IT AS A PRE WASH. I BOUGHT IT A NUMBER OF TIMES DESPITE THE PRICE, BUT THEN I HAD TO TIGHTEN MY BUDGET. GOOD NEWS IS I LEARNED THAT SALINE CUTS THE GREASE PRE WASH AND IS DIRT CHEAP. TO MAKE SALINE AT HOME, GO TO PHARMACY AND BUY A BOX OF SALINE (100) MESURED PACKETS. AT WALMART BUY A CHEAP SET OF PLASTIC CONDIMENT BOTTLES WITH THE SMALL POINTY TIP. EMPTY 2 SALINE PACKETS AND 2 CUPS OF WARM WATER. REPLACE TOP THEN SHAKE VIGOROUSLY. RINSE YOUR HAIR WITH STRAIGHT WARM WATER THEN THROW YOUR HEAD OVER AND START TO APPLY THE SALINE RINSE FROM THE NAPE O YOUR NECK ALL THE WAY FORWARD WORKING THE SALINE TOWARD YOUR HAIRLINE. I HAVE A VERY LARGE AMOUNT OF HAIR, WHICH LIKES TO HOLD THE BREASE UNDER NEATH. BUT WITH THE TIP OF THE CONDIMENT BOTTLE I CAN LIFT UP SECTIONS OF HAIR TO MAKE SURE IT GETS DOWN TO MY SCALP. THE STREAM IS VERY CONTROLLED. ONCE DONE FLIP YOUR HEAD UPRIGHT. AND PAT ALL AROUND YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR CUPPED PALMS TO REALLY PUSH IT IN TO SCALP. YOU CAN WRAP IT UP IN A TOWEL AND LET IT SIT FOR 15 MINS OR GO RIGHT AHEAD AND SHAMPOO AS USUAL. THIS IS NOT HARD ON YOUR HAIR.

This and the accompanying scalp treatment in the tube have saved my sanity. I have been having horrible itchy scalp from winter eczema to the point I wake up at night digging at my head. Since starting to use this product I have had ever increasing time between the itching with each use and I use it twice a week. You can feel it working on your scalp from the first application. With each subsequent application my scalp feels better and better. The tingling of the tea tree oil is a nice change from the constant itching and I noticed after the second use I wasn't having as much "dandruff" anymore. Now that I've been using it for 3 weeks the dry skin is gone. I can wear dark things again and there are no flakes coming from my scalp. The Scalp Treatment of this same brand works so well. It has to stay on your scalp for 10 minutes but it works!!! I love this Briogeo product and even with the expense of it, I am grateful for the relief and I am not using any steroid products like the doctors want to prescribe. It took a few uses for me to get absolute relief but I think it was only 4. Now I'm not itching at all. It lathers well enough and your hear feels very clean after using it. Not greasy at all.

The smell is not good and it made my hair extremely frizzy

I use this shampoo as 1st step before my 2nd time shampoo (Which does cut my amount of shampoo to dime size only).

Works okay but it is too expensive, i was expecting better performance for this price. Better save your money and get a drugstore detox shampoo or scalp scrub.
