I put this inside my chicken coop to keep an eye on the birds, especially at night. It works great, night vision is pretty good and it was easy to set up.

I bought this camera and was initially impressed. My NVR found it without issue and it worked great. Picture was clear and the video was very responsive. But that is not the case anymore. It took me a couple months to get this camera in service and now, a handful of months later, it's dead. I tried everything I could find online about how to troubleshoot it, though I am not a noob on camera gear and IT, and I can't revive it. Fortunately it wasn't very expensive or I'd be a lot more unhappy with it but I have cheaper cameras that have lasted way longer than this one.

Did not work. Connected it to POE and it did not send any packets or make any noise

auto focus not good, auto day night mixed results

I connected it to my router through the same POE injector that I’ve been using with my Ring camera but I couldn’t reach it from my browser. Its power indicator LED comes on but It didn’t show up at all (on any IP address) on my router.

Solid little camera for the price. Used as a nature cam on my property and hooked into blue iris for recording. Great quality video.

Nice little camera - initialized easily

It has a nice 5M picture but no reset button. The app simply ignores the camera and I couldn't connect The video instructions are nice but thy do not work. The only way to use it is through browser on the the same LAN.. No remote access. I wish I knew what other app may accept this camera. By the way, I bought 2 of them. Vendor's assistance is welcome. Update: My initial rating was 3 stars. Now 5 stars - My Tenda NVR works fine with the camera. Good quality picture day and night. the NVR app works fine with the camera. Great vendor's assistance answering my questions and complains. Overall, very satisfied. Remember, it works great with an NVR not as stand-alone camera.

Ich habe das Modell REVODATA 5MP POE IP Kamera IP65 (I704-P-TS) gekauft. Die Kamera macht ein sehr gutes Bild. Auch die Einbindung der Kamera in meine Synology über Onvif hat problemlos funktioniert. Leider vermisse ich 2 wichtige Funktionen in der Kamera: - Mikrofon (oder zumindest die Möglichkeit, ein externes Mikro anzuschließen) - Micro SD-Karten Slot Durch den fehlenden SD-Karten Slot kann die Kamera keine Aufnahmen speichern und deshalb scheint auch ein FTP-Upload der Daten nicht zu funktionieren, obwohl man entsprechende Punkte im Web Interface findet. Achso. Und die Möglichkeit von Snapshots bei Bewegungserkennung wäre auch toll. Wenn die Punkte erfüllt wären, wäre diese Kamera mit Sicherheit mein neuer Favorit für meine Kamera-Nistkästen, da die Kamera richtig schön kompakt ist. So leider nur 3 Sterne und nur ein einmaliger Kauf. Schade

I took a chance. NO reviews on this product when I bought it. Yikes. But this little camera does it well. Picture is clear and colorful in the day, and IR works awesome at night. It has 2 rtsp streams with selectable quality and framerate. Very easy to install and set up the IP address, and add the appropriate stream to my NVR (I use Zoneminder). I did not test the "human" or "motion" detection because I use zoneminder to do that. Field of view is good. Only 2 complaints that make it not 5 stars: - the IR kicks in a bit too early. Compared to my other cameras (good quality Hik ones) the color image stays up most of the time and only when it's really dark the IR turns on. These, though, in a garage on a cloudy day, the IR comes on - The IR LEDs are bright. like really bright. Again versus my Hik cameras that have 2 IR LEDs and have excellent night vision, these ones are super noticeable, so much so that I probably wouldn't want them on the front of my house. If you want a really small form factor that's exterior rated and has night vision, this is a good bet. But small size in my opinion is really the only reason to get this or if you're truly on a super budget and this is all you can afford. But if you have a bit of budget and don't need "very small", look to a more standard camera from a bigger name brand maybe. I'm making no comments on longevity either - this has been installed for one day in a dry environment. Edit: updating my review after getting 2 more of these. The color image does stay on very well... Same as my more expensive cameras outdoors in the same setting. And night vision is really really good. Changed to 5 stars from 4. Edit 6 months later a number of IR bulbs on multiple cameras are failing. Obviously quality is low. Once too many burn out I'll be replacing with real cameras. Changing to 2 stars. This should not happen even after two years.

The user manual and downloads section is absolutely useless. Very complicated tools to find IP does not connect to 192.168.1.108 The support lady tried to help-but absolutely arcane, imprecise instructions. So far-no image on pc, iphone or ipad Ridiculously obtuse impossible setup required steps!!! DISAPPOINTING Google not much help either AVOID Revodata camera 1704-2-P-TS (If you have Deco repeaters, only ONE-the main Deco-should be wired into intranet. If others also, the camera believes it is a wifi device, with ip 192.168.68.xxx not 192.168.1.xxx If you get locked out-email via Amazon website-ask for superpassword On web interface-click on ? Input superpassword change pw to your pw Bingo!!! Only three weeks since receiving-it works!!! A decent printed accurate manual, and IP Camera Quick user manual(correctly labelled)-would be logical & helpful…

Camera is OK. Cannot get it to work on H265 with Synology Surveillance station but am living with it. Being ONVIF standard, it should work, but I cannot get it to do so. IR leds cannot be turned off, so used electricians tape to mask them. Why? I didn't want it going into night mode, preferring to be illuminated with a PIR LED floodlight thus preserving colour recording and remaining covert. The support email is a joke. I gave up after 3 attempts having never received a reply. It is what it is. Probably not worth the 50 quid paid, but the size was the most important factor to me.
