I have used this black cheese cloth table runner many different ways. I have used it for every holiday. I can dress it up or dress it down depending on where I use it. I don’t always use it as a runner. Sometimes I wrap it around my Lazy Susan in the middle of my table. It is a great quality material and I’ve had no issues with it tearing or snagging. Such a great price for such a versatile product.

They arrive braided, and aren't really obviously creased. They are supposed to have a wrinkle effect. Very nice chiffon.

Eigentlich gehört Rosa nur so bedingt zu meinen Lieblingsfarben. Im Fall dieses Tischläufers mache ich aber mal eine Ausnahme, da die Farbe sehr frisch wirkt und der Tischläufer sehr schön wirkt. Bei vier Metern Länge macht er auch an langen Esstischen was her und die Krinkel kommen gut zur Geltung. Mir gefällt das besser als gebügelte und gestärkte Läufer. Kombiniert mit Frühlingsblumen schmückt er die Tafel ungemein. Natürlich braucht niemand bei vier Metern Stoff für aktuell knapp fünfzehn Euro edlen Stoff zu erwarten, aber ich konnte keinerlei Verarbeitungsfehler finden und das finde ich natürlich positiv. Der Tischläufer wird zu einem Zopf zusammengedreht geliefert und wird so in genau dem Zustand geliefert, in dem er sein sollte. Er wirkt also nicht einfach ungebügelt, sondern es ist schon zu merken, dass die Falten gewollt sind. Ich habe jetzt nicht so oft die ganz große Gästeschar zuhause, dass ich ständig einen derart langen Esstisch brauche, aber bei größeren Feiern gehört der Tischläufer ab sofort dazu. Am Läufer selber ist übrigens kein Waschhinweis angebracht; ich hätte aber kein Problem damit ihn im Wäschebeutel auch in die Waschmaschine zu geben. Laut Produktbeschreibung sollte er nicht zu heiß gewaschen werden, aber wenn es mal zu Flecken kommt, muss er eine normale Wäsche aushalten, damit er noch lange schön bleibt.

I used this table runner for a Barbie-related afternoon tea party. At first, I was worried that the dusty rose would look a little bland against the other bright pink accessories and tea service, but it looked absolutely beautiful. Rather than clash with everything on my table, the muted nature of the pink runner served as a complementary backdrop to the golds, blushes, corals, and magentas of the china, teapot, and the flatware. I used it right out the package -- if I had time to wash it, I would've, but it was fine: there wasn't any musty smell or anything to the cloth. That it came tightly twisted in its package was a double-edged sword: on one hand, I didn't have to worry about steaming any major creases, but on the other hand, it made runner quite bulky. Luckily, the tiered serving trays and tea service tray I had were quite heavy-bottomed, so they sat right on top of the table just fine, even though I arranged the cloth to sort of fluff around on the table. If you're gonna go this route, then just make sure lighter things, like a cup and saucer, don't go on the runner, as the probably won't set properly and level on the table. I did put the runner on a buffet-sideboard (rather than a dinner table). Even with the fluffing of the cloth on the table, there was enough for a delicate overhand to drape over the sides. Overall, I was very pleased with this table runner. It's so soft and long enough to be versatile that you can use it as a scarf, or fabric draped over a decorative photo backdrop stand, as opposed to just a table runner. I recommend hanging it to store it, rather than folding it up.
