When the package arrived, I picked up the box and immediately thought, "There's no way... did I accidentally order the wrong blanket?" Twenty pounds is no joke! But the moment I opened the box, I understood exactly why this blanket has such an incredible reputation. The craftsmanship is simply outstanding. I was never a daytime napper before I tried this weighted blanket - I just couldn't relax during the day thinking about everything I needed to get done. From the first time I put on the Napper, that changed! I found my whole body relaxing and my stress practically melting away! Now I use the Bearaby blanket for naps almost every day. It's like pressing an instant sleep button! I will add that it is definitely the perfect weighted blanket for a hot sleeper like me, because air can flow through it all night long, and the natural fabric doesn't make me hot or sweaty.

These are well-made. We have three of them. A king for our bed and one each of the 5-foot and 6-foot throws for TV watching on the couch. When you add it up, it's 900 bucks' worth of blankets. Wait...what? Ok, the materials. I don't want plastic blankets, which are made from polyester. The two throws are cotton, and the king is TENCEL, a fabric derived from wood pulp of eucalyptus trees. Exotic, but it makes a difference. These are seriously heavy but not hot. We take the throws when we travel by car for vacation. They add a really nice touch to the typical VRBO, Airbnb, or hotel: thin, cheap blankets. These feel like they'll outlast me, so I'll hand them down, and my family will be fighting over them. More importantly, we sleep like babies - nice.

I love that this weighted blanket is made from organic material and is Made-in-Green by OEKO-TEX certified. I have been looking for a weighted blanket that doesn't contain any nasty or synthetic materials, and that's when I found Bearaby. I love that this blanket is made from nothing but natural, organic cotton material, and is certified safe, too! Personally, I love how soft and cozy the cotton fabric is, and I love how much better I sleep when I'm not surrounded by gross plastic fibers! Thanks, Bearaby!

WOW! This has become my favorite ever blankie on my bed. Its weight is enough to be soothing and yet it magically "breathes" when its warm and yet remains snuggly warm when it gets chilly in my room. Super happy with this.

My honest review is three stars and that’s because there’s definitely something about laying under this blanket that feels interesting and cozy, however, I do not believe the price is justified, but I was willing to accept, and most importantly the blanket was delivered to me smelling like black mold, which is something I’m very familiar with because I was a plumber for 17 years. I quickly returned it. Maybe where these blankets are stored has moisture issues so idk.. 🤷‍♂️ but that definitely needs to be looked at because for someone to pay $300 for a blanket only to receive a blanket that smells like mold is unacceptable.. My other concern is when I would need to wash this blanket, I don’t see this being easy at all.. so it’s like yeah there’s something cool about this blanket but at what expense? I just don’t think it’s worth it. Solely my opinion.

I was sceptical when purchasing this item thinking it would be just another sensory processing tool that would end up in a closet and forgotten. But it is not, it exceeded my expectations. The weight and softness of this blanket is so soothing and calming.

Die Decke befindet sich sehr eng gewickelt in einem Stoffbeutel. Man kann sie nur mit Mühe herausziehen, hinein bekommt man sie nicht mehr, wenn man sie transportieren möchte. Das erste, was einem in die Nase steigt ist ein penetranter Geruch. Auch durch ausbreiten und lüften ändert sich nichts an dem Geruch. Wenn die Decke auf einem liegt, steigt einem der unangenehme Geruch die ganze Nacht in die Nase. in dieser Preislage finde ich das komplett unakzeptabel (made in India). Die Maße sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, es ist ein Quadrat, also entweder hat man es auf den Beinen oder auf der oberen Körperhälfte liegen. Ob die Decke durch ihr Gewicht den Schlaf positiv beeinflusst ist sicher individuell unterschiedlich. Der Gestank fördert auf alle Fälle nicht den Schlaf. Fazit: Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt gar nicht. Ich würde nur noch eine Gewichtsdecke zu ca. einem Viertel dieses Preises kaufen, in einem gewohnten Maß, die sind von vielen Anbietern verfügbar. Diese Decke hat einen Premium Preis aber keine Premiumqualität.
