NICREW C10 24/7 LED Aquarium Light for Plants, 30-36 Inches, Full Spectrum Fish Tank Light with Timer, Brightness Adjustable

I really cannot stress enough how much I love this light. I have the 12-18 on a 10 gal, and it did look a little short to me at first but puts out a ton of light, and I would like my fish to have some shadey corners to get out of the bright light so it's really perfect. The brackets are a little short, it would feel more secure with an extra inch of bracket, but then I dunno if it would fit on a 5.5 gal, which It fits nicely on. I cannot definitively tell if this size is aluminum casing, but the 18-24 in model is. Things I love: -It is very low profile. If you position it right, you can sit/lay on the couch and the light blends into the black rim of the tank and you can't even see it, which makes it look like a beautiful glowing slice of the sea! -Timer and daylight cycle runs itself -Pre-programmed daylight cycle, ready to go out-of-the-box -Slow on/off doesn't scare fish, ramps up/down in 15 min intervals -I can set it on fun colors for gatherings -Very bright -The cord is long -It does not seem to put out much heat, although I do not have mine sitting on a hood. -It is very light-weight, so much so it does not support the cooling fan (tried just to see). **It is the nicest light for personalization. You can personalize your daylight cycle 24hrs, 6am-8am-10am-12pm-2pm-4pm-6pm-8pm-10pm-12am. (From 12am-6am it will remain the same, and you could run moonlight all night but it grows a ton of algea and isnt really good for the tank.) I add in a beautiful sunset effect before bed that REALLY makes my betta look stellar. -VERY afforable option for small tanks Things I don't love: -The plug is bulky, has to go at the end of the power strip -It's not waterproof, although my cat has knocked this is once or twice and I immediately got it out and it was okay. -If the power goes out, it restarts at 6am if in daylight cycle (other stationary modes would be resumed as normal) -Bracket feels a little short (although it does remain stable and does NOT dip in the middle due to the bracket being too short) I have now purchased one of these lights for all 3 of my tanks and I've been extremely happy with them so far. FYI, the same remote works for all 3 lights, you just have to point it at the one you want to control, so you dont have to have multiple remotes sitting around. Might be a mild issue if you have 2 tanks really close together tho, I have not tried yet.

I have 3 tanks. One is a 75 gallon paludarium, with about 30 gallons in it and tons of plants, above water, in water. I have two Fluval Plant lights on it. They’re my all time favorite but they were like $150+ each! You can control every single teeny aspect of those lights with your phone. But you pay the price for that. BUT for my two 10 gallons, this nicrew 24/7 is great. I’ve used many different lights and this is by far the easiest and best. The plants love it, the 24 hour pre-programmed setting keeps algae at bay, and best of all, if the power goes out, you just need to hit the closest time button on the remote and it’s back to normal. My other lights had this clunky box that is a huge pain to set the time on. And it has to be done every time our power flickers - which is often for us! This light has a gentle sunrise with warm light, gets bright for a few hours and a nice cool blue moonlight at night before it turns off. I’d recommend this one for a budget-friendly option for any size tank.

I personally would order a larger size for your tank I relied on the expandable part and it is not as steady as a clip on. HOWEVER!!!!! The light itself is amazing with the remote and all the different settings although the fit is a little off for my tank that was user purchase error haha! The value of this light is still incredible and my plants have been saved! They’re all growing so great and I even have new baby fish that were just born and the light is perfect for them!

Excellent light. Works great. Bright enough in the 24/7 mode and is very easy to use. Plug and play...........YAY!!!

I love these lights. I’ve bought about six of them. One for everyone of my fishtanks and whenever I accidentally dropped one in the water I bought a new one right away because they’re such a good lights.

I debated between 1 and 2 stars, but I ca only give it one. This is my 3rd nicrew light, I have 2 older models they have timers that show the time. I bought this as a cheaper light but shouldn’t have wasted my money on it. Do yourself a favor and buy a better light. Since you can’t see the time it’s really just a guessing game as to what time the light thinks it is. It switches times all the time resulting in a light that goes off whenever it wants to and come on in the middle of the night. The light is ok but not great but I would give it a 3 star for light brightness and quality. I’ve had it for 20 days before this review.

This perfect. Just perfect. These are specially made just for my 55 gallon cichlid aquarium. The 24/7 cycle is a hassle free smart light control that doesn’t zap your fish all day long with ultra bright white lights. Watching the light transition from ultra low reddish hue from dawn to peak bright at noon and then gradually lowering into dusk is just amazing. The moon light blue isn’t like the other lights. It’s soft. The fish seem to love the light cycles as well. They’re not hiding in rocks half the time from light fatigue. This light spectrum should also help control brown algae most cichlid aquariums suffer from. Absolute bang for your buck.

I’m really picky about lighting in my aquarium & I don’t care for cool whites, which is what most “full spectrum” lights end up being; even the ones that claim to have adjustable light colors usually disappoint. This one is just awesome, especially for the price. If you like cool white, this has that, too, but it also has natural white and decent adjustability for other hues. The 24-hour cycle of colors is great; I haven’t set it up fully, but it has a demo mode that shows you the colors that it will change to in a brief period of time & I am fond of the cycle. I don’t know how easy it will be to set the time on that, but it looks simple enough. The only thing that I don’t like is the flimsy remote, but my Fluval (reputable name brand, if you’re not familiar) tank has one, too, and it has been working just fine for over 2 years. I wish that both had controls that didn’t require a remote because if you break or lose one, the light will basically become unusable, but it appears that most–if not all–adjustable lights have these remotes now.

A little bit big for a 3 gallon cube tank that I have, but I knew that going in - this one was the smallest one they had! The light is fantastic - my Betta loves it! The 24 hour feature is super neat. Have yet to customize it or anything, but even out of the box, it’s basically plug and play! Word travels fast about this one - was recommended by my brother, who has a larger tank than me!

I can only speak of the short time I’ve used this light but I have been pleasantly surprised at how good it is. I have lights on other tanks but they are very much manually controlled. These however have the ability to use preset or custom routines to turn on, change color and turn off without any need to be done manually once set. So you can set it and forget it. I enjoy watching as the day passes the 24 hr cycle that is preset I haven’t tried to customize it as yet and am impressed at how close it mimics realtime lighting. So as of the light use I have made of it I am very happy with the purchase.

Not a good budget option for any marine aquaria as even with just the white and actinic blue LEDs on it'll grow copious hair algae and cyanobacterua but it'll work great for your freshwater systems! Instead, buy the new Hygger marine light if you're like me and you simply can't afford Nicrew's marine offering.

Really good light, made me love my fish tank even more. Having it automatically transition every 2 hours is a godsend to not have to worry about. Only issue is I had to buy a second one because it's VERY not waterproof for a fish tank and it got splashed a bit and fully burned out so had to buy another
