C10 24/7 LED Aquarium Light for Plants, 30-36 Inches, Full Spectrum Fish Tank Light with Timer, Brightness Adjustable

I really cannot stress enough how much I love this light. I have the 12-18 on a 10 gal, and it did look a little short to me at first but puts out a ton of light, and I would like my fish to have some shadey corners to get out of the bright light so it's really perfect. The brackets are a little short, it would feel more secure with an extra inch of bracket, but then I dunno if it would fit on a 5.5 gal, which It fits nicely on. I cannot definitively tell if this size is aluminum casing, but the 18-24 in model is. Things I love: -It is very low profile. If you position it right, you can sit/lay on the couch and the light blends into the black rim of the tank and you can't even see it, which makes it look like a beautiful glowing slice of the sea! -Timer and daylight cycle runs itself -Pre-programmed daylight cycle, ready to go out-of-the-box -Slow on/off doesn't scare fish, ramps up/down in 15 min intervals -I can set it on fun colors for gatherings -Very bright -The cord is long -It does not seem to put out much heat, although I do not have mine sitting on a hood. -It is very light-weight, so much so it does not support the cooling fan (tried just to see). **It is the nicest light for personalization. You can personalize your daylight cycle 24hrs, 6am-8am-10am-12pm-2pm-4pm-6pm-8pm-10pm-12am. (From 12am-6am it will remain the same, and you could run moonlight all night but it grows a ton of algea and isnt really good for the tank.) I add in a beautiful sunset effect before bed that REALLY makes my betta look stellar. -VERY afforable option for small tanks Things I don't love: -The plug is bulky, has to go at the end of the power strip -It's not waterproof, although my cat has knocked this is once or twice and I immediately got it out and it was okay. -If the power goes out, it restarts at 6am if in daylight cycle (other stationary modes would be resumed as normal) -Bracket feels a little short (although it does remain stable and does NOT dip in the middle due to the bracket being too short) I have now purchased one of these lights for all 3 of my tanks and I've been extremely happy with them so far. FYI, the same remote works for all 3 lights, you just have to point it at the one you want to control, so you dont have to have multiple remotes sitting around. Might be a mild issue if you have 2 tanks really close together tho, I have not tried yet.

I have 3 tanks. One is a 75 gallon paludarium, with about 30 gallons in it and tons of plants, above water, in water. I have two Fluval Plant lights on it. They’re my all time favorite but they were like $150+ each! You can control every single teeny aspect of those lights with your phone. But you pay the price for that. BUT for my two 10 gallons, this nicrew 24/7 is great. I’ve used many different lights and this is by far the easiest and best. The plants love it, the 24 hour pre-programmed setting keeps algae at bay, and best of all, if the power goes out, you just need to hit the closest time button on the remote and it’s back to normal. My other lights had this clunky box that is a huge pain to set the time on. And it has to be done every time our power flickers - which is often for us! This light has a gentle sunrise with warm light, gets bright for a few hours and a nice cool blue moonlight at night before it turns off. I’d recommend this one for a budget-friendly option for any size tank.

This is a nice aquarium light. The timer is not as granular as the last one I had, but it is very functional. For the price, it's great.

I personally would order a larger size for your tank I relied on the expandable part and it is not as steady as a clip on. HOWEVER!!!!! The light itself is amazing with the remote and all the different settings although the fit is a little off for my tank that was user purchase error haha! The value of this light is still incredible and my plants have been saved! They’re all growing so great and I even have new baby fish that were just born and the light is perfect for them!

The value for the money is amazing on this light. At this price you expect some plastic junk, nope! Metal, sleek, LEDs are good quality, it’s bright, and very customizable.

This is a perfect little light. Purchased it for Lego aquarium display. I love the feature that changes the light intensity throughout the day.

I thought that this light was great at first, but now I think it's terrible. I've been having an issue with hair algae and tried to figure out how to change the settings on the light and since then it has been messed up. I've tried to reset it to get the cycle working again and nothing works. My parameters are perfect and I still keep losing corys - others think that it's the light stressing them out. I honestly have no idea. The remote is terrible and nothing is working anymore as it should be which is the reason for my review. If they had an app or something that'd make it easier to control the settings then it'd be so much better, but it's not worth the frustration IMO.

I love this light but there was a little bit of a learning curve in figuring out how to set it up. I wanted the light to come on automatically and replicate the natural 24/7 cycle but it was hard to figure out how to do that at first. The instructions didn't help much. I finally figured it out and it's working great.

I can only speak of the short time I’ve used this light but I have been pleasantly surprised at how good it is. I have lights on other tanks but they are very much manually controlled. These however have the ability to use preset or custom routines to turn on, change color and turn off without any need to be done manually once set. So you can set it and forget it. I enjoy watching as the day passes the 24 hr cycle that is preset I haven’t tried to customize it as yet and am impressed at how close it mimics realtime lighting. So as of the light use I have made of it I am very happy with the purchase.

Best light ever for my fish tank. I have a 3 gallon tank with a betta. The light doesn't get too hot and the warmth dissipates as the light changes throughout the day. I LOVE the 24/7 mode - it is absolutely perfect. I did raise the light up higher so it wouldn't be so close to the lid of the tank. I used to coffee can lids to set it on. The lid of the tank doesn't get hot at all. I honestly feel like this 24/7 mode light has helped my betta thrive even more. I'm a beginner and the directions were easy to follow.

This light is amazing the works great not only on plants but our hermit crabs are happy as well. I haven't seen them this active in a long time.

Bought this to replace an older LED on a planted freshwater tank where I wanted more consistent lighting without having to micromanage timers. I’m using it on a tank with live plants and small fish, mounted over a standard glass lid. Setup was straightforward, and the built-in 24/7 cycle is easy to understand once set. Brightness adjustment is useful and helps dial things in so the tank isn’t overly bright. The light output is strong enough for low to medium light plants, and colors look natural rather than washed out or overly blue. Fish coloration comes through nicely, and plant growth has been steady since installing it. The gradual transitions throughout the day are a nice touch and less jarring than lights that snap on and off. One limitation is that advanced users may find the customization options a bit basic. You can adjust brightness and use the preset cycle, but you don’t get deep control over individual color channels or timing. Overall, it’s a solid, practical light for planted community tanks if you want something reliable with minimal fuss. A good balance between simplicity and performance, especially for everyday setups.
