how do you connect power to the device if you install the unit into a door ?

The power must be routed to cross the hinge in an orientation that prevents it from being pinched when closing.

How cold does this get?

It’s not creating any cold just fan for air flow , it’s good in areas that heat have to escape

For an equipment closet, why would you want the intake fan instead of the exhaust fan? Which is needed when trying to cool closet?

I use 2 fans. Intake on bottom Outtake on top.

So if i am facing the display?...does the air come out from the LED side or the back?

The air comes out the back with this model. They have others that vent out the front.
