Our dog has issues where he escapes all the time. We have a fence but he digs holes under it and rubs away or chases and kills our chickens. Our other dogs don’t do that. He’s a weenie dog and a Houdini…he gets out of everything. I don’t want him hit by a car or killing my chickens. This is long enough that he can play in the fenced yard with his dog friends that don’t escape.We thought we may have to get rid of him due to the issues but this saves the day.My daughter can keep her dog, he stays alive and can play with his 3 lady friends outside and my chickens live happy lives not being killed. Works great strong chain. Not too heavy for him. Good clasp on both ends. Works with our husky as well. We have all rescues and they are a crazy bunch.

Sometimes we have to Chain our Great Pyrenees so we can take care of the yard. It's heavy-duty enough where she can't break it and cannot chew threw it.

Very sturdy chain, just not for us. Too heavy for my little dog and kept getting stuck in between the deck boards.
