I wanted to give a homage watch a try. This watch is well crafted and it does look high quality. The pictures don't make justice, in person looks outstanding.

PD-1671 V2 BB58 model. Just got it. Really nice presentation when unboxing. Keeping in mind this is a sub-$100 watch (got it on Prime Day sale), the fit and finish is very decent. No back play in the bezel, in which the numbers have more of a rose gold/pinkish tint to the numbers while the watch face digits are .more orange-ish/yellow... The 42mm looks a bit small on my wrist. I'll most likely keep the watch as I'm not sure getting a replacement would cause me to get anything different. For the money I could just order a different bezel piece and replace if it bugged me too much. Has the NH35a movement (purchased watch on 10/11/2023). As far as the bracelet goes, I have an 8 inch wrist and had to remove 3 links to get to fit but still could use a 1/2 link less and would fit on my wrist and stay more in place without being too tight. It doesn't pull arm hair and no sharp edges found (so far). It is light weight and not bothersome to wear. I'll update down the road of ownership, the good thing is if the NH35a takes a dump, they are about $25.00 at their time to purchase for a replacement.

Update: After realizing this was a Chinese NH35 rather than a Japanese one, I started the return process. Still, I liked the way it wore, so I didn't return it right away. This week it stopped ticking all together. I decided to order another one. The new one had more accessories in the box, a different type of plastic wrap, and a legit NH35A movement. Given the issues with the first, misaligned hands, counterfeit movement, missing accessories, loose caseback out of the box, I believe the first watch was purchased, movement swapped, then returned and sold as new. The new one is much better. Leaving the rating a 3/5 though. I've purchased quite a few Chinese homages over the last year, as well as a couple of luxury watches (Omega). I had originally ordered a San Martin, but the order got cancelled, and I really wanted to try out a Tudor homage, so I picked this one up. I've purchased Pagani Design watches before, and never really liked them, but they were old versions, and this one is pretty new, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Right away I noticed how cloudy the crystal is. The version I have features a black bezel, so the cloudiness is really shocking compared to the dark black of the bezel. Other colors would probably be fine. This is not the cloudiest watch I own, but it's still an issue. The next issue I noticed was that the hour hand is mis-aligned. For example, at 6:00 the hour hand is not quite to the 6 o'clock marker. This isn't a mechanical failure as much as a QC failure. The rate also seems off. I've owned a few NH35 movement watches, and they're all accurate within 5 or 6 seconds, usually fast. This one lost 20 seconds over 15 hours. Admittedly, I didn't fully wind it, so I'm going to see what it does today. 20 seconds/day is within the spec for the NH35, I've just had better luck in the past, so I don't fault Pagani here. The lume is pretty dim. It did last all night, but even right after charging it with a UV light it was dim. Better than on my previous PD watches though, those did not make it through the night. The finishing on the watch and bracelet is pretty good. Definitely better than previous PD watches. It's not too thick either. The screw down crown works very well, it engages right away when screwing it back in. The bracelet is slightly weird though, it tapers all the way down. Most bracelets taper for the first few links, then even out for the removable links. This one you have to be careful which links you remove as it will cause issues. I removed several links and couldn't get the remaining links to fit back together. I had to swap them around a bunch to find a solution that worked. This also means that the screw pins have different tolerances depending on the link they're going into. Some of them were really hard to get out because even fully unscrewed they had less than 1mm of clearance to pull them out. I had to push them out from the other side. Also, the endcaps on the removable links are true 5-piece links. On the non-removable links this is either excluded entirely, or just a line in the finish to pretend it's the same. It's ugly. Last issue with the bracelet is the micro-adjustment holes. They are very small, and the watch doesn't come with any tools. I tried my existing pushers, but they were too large, same with the paper-clip that I use sometimes. I had to use a spring-bar removal tool and wedge one side into the hole, which gave me just enough clearance to adjust. There's also only 3 positions, but I was able to get a good fit. The clasp is pretty nice, it's milled and signed. The pushers work smoothly, and it doesn't catch hair. This is one of the high points of the watch. Overall, this watch is just OK. I wish the crystal was clearer, if it was I'd say it's good for the money. As it is, I have cheaper watches with sapphire that look better (Addiesdive), so this watch looks cheaper than it is. If PD can't do clear sapphire I wish they would stick to mineral glass.

This is my third PD watch and the first two were top rate especially for the low price. This one looks and feels exactly what it cost. Cheap. Changed the band out because you have to just throw the stock one in the trash immediately. The appearance is poor, the feel of the watch and the thickness make it all come together like it came out of a quarter machine. Not what I had expected from PD, people like to dog em but I have had great experiences with their watches…until this thing.

Me sorprende lo cómodo que es el reloj, a pesar de su altura y relativo tamaño "grande". Tengo otros relojes que valen 20 veces el precio de éste y no se acomodan tan rápido y fácil. Se lleva muy bien en la muñeca, pues su brazalete es fácil de ajustar. La calidad del reloj no es para nada extraordinaria, pero cumple con los acabados de un reloj de dos mil pesos. Su diseño y apariencia ofrecen la sensación de traer un reloj mucho más costoso, ¿un Tudor Black Bay tal vez? Recibes bastante por el precio que pagas.

The crown is very protruding. It's a bit of a downer considering the overall watch looks decently good. it would have been really good to have the crown go back into the case with a screw down and make it look more seamless.
