Wanna go fast?
Purchase: Nov 2023 Great SFP and it does push 10Gig. As other have mentioned, these do get hot. Even with the heat, the transceiver still hits 10 Gig speeds reliably for over a year now. If it works it works, I can't complain. Update: 10/17/2025 Still working great. I got these as a pair for my home lab and installed them onto a TRENDnet TEG-3102WS switch going to a 10 GiB NIC. Still zero issues. I recently put some passive heatsinks onto the transceivers, did that a couple days ago. Not that I had any heat related problems. I know I mentioned these heat up but it hasn't caused any issues as of yet. I'm mainly doing it for peace of mind. Now I'm shopping around for more heatsinks and I thought I would update my review. Photo is showcasing the heatsinks and temps.

Work well but run a little warm.
work well in my Ubiquiti setup, but do run a bit warm. I think its a nature of all rj45 modules but these are lower voltage so they are a bit cooler.

So far has worked in everything I have tried it in.
I have used this in a mokerlink switch with 4 10g sfp+ ports.. worked great. Had to set the ports to 10gig in the web management. connected 3 of the mokerlinks together and also a netgear 8port switch with 2 10gig Ethernet ports. I have used them in Zyxel 12-Port Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Web Managed Switches I have two of the switches connected together at 10gig with sfp+, also a workstation with 10gig card connected into the second sfp+ port. I used on of these in a netgear nighthawk x10 r9000 router in the 10gig sfp+ port and connected it to one of the above zyxel switches in one of its 2.5 gig Ethernet ports. It is what is connecting my router to the LAN side. The zyxel switch reports it connected at 2.5gig. I have not tested performance though. I did not see the increase in performance from workstation to workstation I had hoped for but did see 2x to 2.5x speeds from the Cisco 1gig switches I had been using. went from 60-90 MB/s to 200 MB/s. I did not change out to better cables so maybe seeing some performance issues there. I have a Asustor NAS using a USB 3.1 2.5gig Ethernet adapter connected one of the USB 3.0 ports on it to one of the 2.5 gig ports on one of the the zyxel switches and though it runs a little faster than on the 1gig network its not much more. I am getting maybe 80 to 90 MB/s instead of 50 to 60 MB/s on average. I had been using a LAG with 4 1gig Ethernet ports on NAS to Cisco switch and this seems a bit faster overall. Was never impressed with the LAG. I was surprised this was able to connect at 2.5gig. Its listed 1 or 10gig and I just tried it because. So was happy it worked. So overall I would recommend this if you are using netgear routers with sfp+, mokerlink switches or zyxel switches with sfp+

Lasted as long as a full-term pregnancy
UPDATE: customer service reached out shortly after this review to make things right. They stand behind their quality, and I provided them more details of my setup, the conditions, and symptoms to help them in quality improvements. Even though the product failed, the company was successful in support. I appreciate good customer support like that!! Purchased the 2 pack of these SFP+ for a CAT6 run; ant the time there were good reviews and excellent price point. Both ends operated in a climate controlled residential interior, with one in a fan cooled cabinet. They ran fine on my Unifi ecosystem for 9 months until one of the transceivers failed. I should have got more life out of this product and not have to go shopping for a new set this soon!

Works with Unifi UDM Pro
Needed 2.5GbE connection for the WAN Cable modem as 1GbE port was limiting the throughput. The module was recognized with no issues. Improved ISP speeds.

Compatible with Cisco.
Worked perfectly with Cisco catalyst 9300.

Seemed high quality, but maybe not compatible with Ubiquity? Worth a shot for the great price
I am not exactly sure how to rate this. Seemed to be high quality, but I couldn't get it to work for me in my Ubiquity USW Pro Max 16 PoE. It could have been my fault, or maybe the fault of the other switch I was connecting it to, but the switch didn't seem to see it. I figured for home use, I'd just return this and be happy with the 2.5g I could get with a regular CAT6.. It may not be fair to deduct a star because I'm not sure it wasn't my fault, but the switch didn't even seem to see the module (ie: wouldn't even let me configure the port) so I think it may have been bad..

Worth it
It works, arrived quickly. Not sure about the max speeds as I am only using this to connect 5g home internet to my gateway as a backup. So I will never get gig speeds on it.

Warranty is a LIE, product is poor quality and fails quickly.
Broke after a few months, emailed them about warranty, they did not respond. DO NOT BUY IF YOU EXPECT A WARRANTY! The product itself is poor quality and failed very quickly, it doesn't even light up now if you plug it in.

10Gbase-T SFP+ Copper Transceiver

Doesn't work for TP-Link TX401
No idea cause it doesn't work properly for TP-Link TX401-also bought from Amazon. The main thing I dislike is the image shown 2x adapter, I can't remember if the (pack of one) is stated when I bought it but I was expecting 2 pieces. I would never buy from these type of dirty tactic product again.
