Book is amazing inside but damaged cover
Hardcover has so many scratches on it......but story inside is worth it.

Go for it if you really want to read the book.
Unexpectedly thick book, quite heavy. Can't say the same quality about the story (i dnf'ed it halfway) but everything about the book was perfect.

Very good but might not be for everyone
The story follows Marek and his father Jude who had a pasture and raised lambs . It's set in a mideavel setting and is dark and a bit gouresome. My first Ottessa reads and it's pretty good

Excellent
I really loved and enjoyed this book. It is probably among my favourites that I've read in the past few years. Stomach turning at points, eye opening at others. I truly loved the weaving in of ends. Will have to read more from this author. Lovely way with words, even when the words are horrific
