KastKing Ellijay Bifocal Polarized Sunglasses, Wrap Reader Sunglasses

These worked really great. Took away most of the glare on the lake. I was able to see to change out hooks and tie on new lures. They fit pretty good but the nose made my nose just a little raw after sweating. would still love to use them if I could figure out where I actually sotred them. LOL

Wore these glasses today while fishing. Before I bought these I was always having to remove my sunglasses and grab my reading glasses to change lures or take a fish off the hook. Not today! I was able to leave these sunglasses on all day and see what I was doing just fine through the reading section of the lenses. I would definitely buy these again.

This review is on the "KastKing Ellijay Bifocal Polarized Sunglasses, Bi-Focal x1.5 x2.0 x2.5 Magnifications, Wrap Sport Reader Sunglasses" I received today. Unfortunately, although the reading area of the glasses are perfectly clear, both the right and left non-magnified part of the lens is cloudy, too cloudy to see to walk or drive a vehicle. I had my friend with 20/20 vision try the non-magnified part of the glasses and they said the right lens is especially cloudy. It's not safe to walk or drive this way. I've used the instructions to clean and clear the fogginess, but it doesn't fix it. Before I return these, I am supposed to receive a KastKing Waccamah Fishing Sunglasses with same reader magnification and non-magnified lens this week. If THOSE work as advertised, I'll eat the $40+ I paid for these Elligay glasses and keep the Waccamah pair, also cost $40+. Disposing of one pair to keep a good pair, total cost $80+ isn't so bad. But, if they also are not usable due to unclear imaging, I'll return them both at the same time. UPDATE: I returned these Saturday morning selecting replacement instead of refund to take the chance I might get a good pair of glasses. Within a couple hours of drop off at Amazon Return Store, I received an Amazon email saying my replacements would be delivered the next day, and it was! Wow, shipping almost before I myself knew I was going to do it. I'm changing this review from 1 start to 4 stars since I had to deal with the problem, but I am VERY HAPPY to say, the 2nd pair (replacement pair for Ellijay model) are in fact CLEAR and not smudged! I would have changed this to 5 since the new glasses are good, but there is a separate line item for the new ones, I'll give 5 there and keep 4 star here to note the issue even though it was corrected. I would buy from this company again, but be aware the glasses may be very good or have a problem, not sure with a 50/50 chance. If I had ordered 100, maybe it would have been one bad with 99 good, so I can't accurately say KastKing is great, but fixing the issue is a Big Step toward being a company I may order from again. BTW, I also had ordered Waccamah from KastKing and they came clear and perfect the first time. I will put a review on that separate line item today. UPDATE Review on 2026-07-13 Monday morning.

I’ve been using these bifocal polarized sunglasses for a while now because I wanted to see how they’d hold up to real-world use. As a hobbyist drone pilot, I was tired of the constant "glasses swap"—switching between regular sunglasses to see the sky and bifocals to see the telemetry on my RC controller monitor. These have been a squint and glasses swapper saver. ​The Highlights: ​Field Durability: These things have taken a beating. I’ve dropped them on the ground, worn them on my head, and tossed them into my pilot bag without a case. Despite all that, they haven't scratched and haven't lost their sturdiness at all. ​Crystal Clear Optics: The polarization is excellent at reducing glare on sunny days, and the bifocal portion is perfectly placed. It makes reading my controller screen effortless while still being able to track my flight in the sky. ​Style & Fit: They are actually very sharp looking and well-made. They don’t feel like "cheap" glasses; they feel like professional-grade gear. ​I’m so impressed with these that I’m actually about to order a second pair just to have as a backup. If you need to see things up close without sacrificing sun protection or durability, I highly recommend these!

Got these for my husband. We go fishing a LOT and he loves these for being on the boat and being able to have sun protection and also see to tie knots and clean fish. Price is good for what you get. Can’t comment on durability since we just got our order recently but I’d recommend these.

These are awesome. Got tired of switching back and forth between my readers and my sunglasses. I mostly use these out on a boat when I have to look at the chart while navigating. Would buy again.

I’ve always had Costa, but no more. These amber lenses are just as good. Have worn Costa for 25 years, decided to try these on a whim. They are fantastic. The amber lenses make everything crisp and clear and the bifocals are a must have for me, and they work great.

I wade fly fish my local river. These are great for seeing in the water and keeping from tripping and falling. Also, the have magnified bifocal readers which help when tying small flies on my leaders. They are wrap around style and keep the sun from shining in the sides.

These work great for sunny or bright days on the water. I can easily change up flies and lures without the pain of switching sunglasses to readers and back to sunglasses. The bifocal part is positioned in the right spot and doesn’t interfere with normal vision. They seem quite well made and the case is a nice addition. I’d recommend these if you need a little help seeing up close items while in bright conditions.

Very happy with glasses, no more fighting with contacts! Have recommended to many others.
