Really impressed with this product
Okay, it took me a good couple of tries to get this right, but we figured her out. Literally the same philosophy as bleaching hair. My car's windows have been sporting extremely baked-on water stains because I had neglected her for several years. I tried clay, vinegar, Windex, and a sponge (which, honestly, out of the three, kind of worked the best, weirdly), but the results were all varying levels of disappointment. I was drawn to this product because of its heavy-duty nature. It certainly smells dangerous. And it has the consistency of snot, which is... Moving on. The directions advise not to let the goop dry. This is hugely important. Don't waste your time and product in the sun or on a warm surface. Can confirm, the product does not work if dry (like with bleaching hair). It is permanently windy where I live, so "ideal conditions" for preventing drying are incredibly rare. Spent a lot of time and product trying to find the best way to prevent drying. My technique for combating drying was really making sure to thickly layer the dangerous-smelling snot on the glass. However, this may not be necessary on a dim, cool, still evening. I also slowly ramped up the amount of time I left the goop on the glass. Thirty seconds just did not do it for my very old and baked-on stains. To be honest, I wasn't terribly precise. I was kind of going by vibes. I would apply the goop, and it wasn't until the surface was entirely covered that I would start a mental clock. I probably left the treatment on for anywhere from 30 to 120 seconds. (Much like bleaching hair, it needs time to process, and the severity of the stains will ultimately determine how much time it takes to be effective. Further, the place you begin the application begins processing immediately. If your area is too large or if you take too much time to completely coat the area, the final result will be uneven.) I did not see any damage as a result of leaving the treatment on longer than 30 seconds, but I did not leave it on any longer than 2 minutes. I would still recommend proceeding with caution if you want to play around with the time here. Now, I was confused by the direction to "soak" the area. Maybe it's just me. I couldn't picture it. I elected to douse my entire car in water for several minutes after treating each section before wiping it all dry again. Time will tell if that was an effective method or if I damaged my paint. But guys, oh my god. I really should have taken before and after photos. I am kicking myself. I mean, I hoped it would work, but I did not expect it would work this well! My windows literally look brand new, it is amazing. I have a mid-sized, four-door sedan. Even with my liberal application and my test runs to figure it out, I only used about half of the bottle on the door windows and the back windshield. I'm pretty impressed with how far a 16 oz bottle is going. The power of snot. Would recommend.

Miracle in a bottle!
This stuff is a miracle in a bottle! I Have tried all manner of home remedies, many different types of cleaners, but I could not get rid of the hard water spots on my black Mustang. I tried this gel, in conjunction with their detail spray. The results were amazing! Took a little elbow grease but final product was worth it. No more spots, and very shiny! It didn't work as wall on my windows as I would have hoped, but overall I am extremely satisfied!

Determined to keep trying!!
I am on a mission to try to get my shower glass door crystal clear as when I first got it two years ago. I wipe down my shower doors each night and clean them each weekend but I have well water and that causes orange stains around any surface that has been in contact with water. It also causes hard water stains on glass, shower, and porcelain. So far, this product has not removed all the general light water stains on my shower doors. My shower doors are not yet crystal clear. I tried just wiping it in a circular motion with a microfiber cloth like the video and most of the water stains remain. I tried leaving the product on the glass longer and using a magic eraser in a circular motion to wipe the product off and the water stains are still there. The product has removed about 90% of the original stains. You can definitely still see the rings. I do love the thick product. The bottle size will last us awhile! It is not a spray but it’s highly concentrated and works well on my mirrors. I plan to use this weekly in my other new glass shower door and will update as needed.

The best product I've used for removing water spots from glass
Over the past few years, I've been trying (without a great deal of success) to remove hard water spots from my glass shower doors. I've tried most everything, from home-brewed concoctions (various vinegar concentrations), magic erasers, CLR, steel wool, other hard water removal chemicals, etc. Nothing really worked. I've used Chemical Guys car soaps/waxes/sealants before, so I figured their water spot remover was worth a shot. Turns out it's easily the most effective product I've used so far. It got off around 95% of the hard water stains I tried it on. It's pretty easy to use, just put some on microfiber cloth , wipe down the glass, give it a thorough rinse and then wipe it down (again) with another microfiber cloth. The instructions say not to leave on the glass for more than 30 seconds, but I've left it on for a upwards of 2-3 minutes before rinsing it off and nothing of note happened. You'll only use a little of it per use, so the bottle will last quite a while.

Who knew?! Great stuff.
I saw this on a reel on day and it looked pretty decent. A bit pricey for a cleaner. But, thought I’d give it a try. I LOVE it. It’s cleaned the really hard to clean glass shower doors - beautifully. It even cleaned my gross glass oven door - not sure if it’s supposed to be used for that but it worked when nothing else has! I will definitely buy again. However, I’ve used it several times on the shower and now on the oven, and I was very liberally using it, mind you, and it’s only gone down an inch from the top so… it lasts!

Overall fair value.
This product has worked well for me, but I have not tried it my car. I use it to keep hard water stains off my glass shower doors. It seems at least for my purposes to be a good value since it's lasting a while. I only didn't give 5 stars because I'm not sure how well it works for it's intended purpose for use on cars. It makes my shower doors shine beautifully, I will buy it again.

It actually works!!!
Yes, it does work. I was skeptical at 1st being there is all those scam advertisements on FB, YouTube, Etc showing people with a cars with sun faded paint and peeling clear coat and wiping on a product and the paint comes out shinny like a new car. I made the mistake of parking by a business watering their grass with reclaimed water(gray water) and its in the desert area of California and my car is black with black wheels. I tried cleaning my car about a week after it soaked my car with the gray water. Afterwards there was still hard water spots everywhere that would not come off. It was on the glass, chrome, wheels, rubber trim and paint. I tried power washing, buying expensive car wash soap that said gets rid of hard water spots and even using 1 part vinegar and 1 part water, to no avail! Using this product, I had to wipe it on/off a few times over in some spots but it did work. I used it on the chrome trim, glass, headlights/taillights, wheels and rubber molding around the windows and it got it off. I wiped it on using a microfiber sponge that you would use to apply carwax and used Miguars car detail to neutralize the product then wiped off, per the instructions.

Highly Recommend
Takes some arm power but this stuff really works. Only water spot remover that’s been able to get these 3 year deep spots off.

Amazing!

Chemical Guys Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover is an excellent product
My car developed a lot of water spots after being parked under a building—likely from a chiller or drainage line. I washed the car immediately, and while most spots came off, many were still clearly visible on my black paint. While searching for a proper solution, I came across this product and decided to order it. It worked perfectly. It removed the remaining water spots effortlessly and restored the finish. Highly recommended if you’re dealing with stubborn spots that regular washing can’t fix
