Do you just press down to get it to stick or is it an iron on?** A: It is like a very thin double sided tape. I have used it to make hemming much easier. Especially if it is a thin hem where it's harder to hold or pin. No ironing necessary, just cut the amount you need place it on the fabric then peel the paper off the other side and press the fabric together. **Q: Can this be used as a temporary hemming tool for a jersey dress? Will it hold for one night of trick or treating with my friends?** A: I was not a fan of this. It didn't hold at all (I was working on a basic jersey dress).
