Review: A game-changer for my paddle boarding exercise - The Speedo Unisex-Adjust Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Bag has been a game-changer for my saltwater paddle boarding trips. I was on the lookout for a bag that could carry a variety of items like my diving mask, mask cleaner, anchor, and water bottle, but the most crucial aspect was that it had to be easy to wash. Since I frequently go paddle boarding, I needed a bag that I could clean without the hassle of unpacking everything inside. This bag fits the bill perfectly. At 5'10", I find the bag, true to its name, quite large. However, it's lightweight and comfortable to carry, regardless of your height. You can fill it with as much or as little as you need, thanks to its spacious design. The top opening of the bag is impressively wide—you could easily fit a basketball inside. The bag also features two large zippered pockets on the front and an additional mesh pocket, which adds to its practicality. I chose the orange color for better visibility on the water, though there are plenty of color options available. After each paddle boarding session, I soak the entire bag in a 5-gallon freshwater bucket and let it air dry by hanging it with a fan. The mesh material allows it to dry completely within an hour, making it ready for the next adventure. The only drawback I’ve found is the lack of a waterproof pocket. While I understand this design choice, I still carry a separate dry bag for my car keys and phone to be safe. So far, I’ve taken this bag on ten paddle boarding trips in Florida. Despite falling into the water several times with the bag on my back, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn’t drag me down when I climbed back onto the board. The mesh material likely plays a role in reducing water resistance, to the point where I almost thought I’d lost the bag in the water. When folded, this bag is compact enough to fit into a pant pocket, which adds to its convenience. I highly recommend this bag for students, swimmers, paddlers, or anyone who enjoys water activities. It’s a reliable and practical choice that has met all my needs. Review: Worked Great As A Present - I bought this Speedo ventilated wet gear bag for my father for Christmas and he really liked it a lot. He swims a lot during his workouts and he told me it has lots of space, helped to keep his swimming suit open to the air so it doesn’t get moldy and he appreciated the extra pockets and how it opened at the top. Since it was a present to my father as I mentioned, I cannot comment on how it works. But going off his remarks it sounded like a good buy to me and I’m glad it made him happy. Also, compared to a Bulldogs branded drawstring bag he used previously that wasn’t ventilated. He said that this Speedo one has much more space as well and he could carry more items to the gym as a result. I know the color does matter really but I bought him the gray version and he liked that, too. If I was going swimming and needed a bag to carry my swimming suit and other stuff, I would probably buy one of these myself. I would also believe that this bag might be really good for going to the beach. That actually might be a reason that I will get one for myself. I would probably choose the volcanic colored one though, haha. Hope this helps other shoppers, thanks for reading. ## Features - 100% Polyester - Imported - QUICK-DRY PERFORMANCE: Mesh construction allows wet gear to breathe and dry fast, making it the perfect carryall for beach days, swim sessions, or sweaty gym clothes. - COMFORTABLE TO CARRY: Adjustable shoulder straps convert this mesh bag into a backpack for hands-free convenience on the move. - KEEPS GEAR SECURE: Durable drawstring closure lets you cinch down your essentials while offering quick access when it’s go time. - ROOM FOR ALL THE ESSENTIALS: With a 33L capacity, there’s plenty of space for towels, swim fins, goggles, shoes, and more. - LIGHTWEIGHT YET TOUGH: Crafted from 100% polyester for strength and durability without the bulk, this bag won’t weigh you down. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00EL3N3QK | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,246 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #1 in Swimming Equipment Bags | | Brand | Speedo | | Brand Name | Speedo | | Capacity | 33 liters | | Closure Type | Drawstring | | Color | Bright Marigold | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 10,746 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00786096538879 | | Handle Type | Shoulder Strap | | Included Components | Mildhug Speedo Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Equipment Bag, Bright Marigold | | Item Length | 24 inches | | Item Type Name | Backpack | | Item Weight | 8.2 ounces | | Manufacturer | Speedo | | Manufacturer Part Number | 8-7520118834-1SZ | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Warranty | | Material | Polyester | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Number | USXDLUXVENTILATORBAG | | Number of Compartments | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Pocket Description | Utility Pocket | | Shell Type | Soft | | Size | One Size | | Sport | Swimming | | Sport Type | Swimming | | Strap Type | Shoulder Strap | | Style Name | Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Equipment Bag | | UPC | 786096538879 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | | Wheel Type | No Wheels | ## Product Details - **Size:** One Size - **Color:** Pipeline Zig Zag - **Material:** Polyester - **Sport:** Swimming - **Style:** Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Equipment Bag ## Images ![Speedo Unisex-Adult Drawstring Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Equipment Bag - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91aRrsDT6IL.jpg) ![Speedo Unisex-Adult Drawstring Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Equipment Bag - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/919ZaAckjpL.jpg) ![Speedo Unisex-Adult Drawstring Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Equipment Bag - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81YAcEBcpWL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Amazon says the bag is 12.9" x 7.7" while speedo says 24" x 17". Does anyone know which is right?** A: The bag is 24" x 17". It rocks. I have the previous Speedo bag and the current TYR bag. This Speedo bag is superior in design. It is solid material on bottom for strength (the TYR bag is netted and tears easily). The zippered/dry pocket is a good size and easy to access (on the previous Speedo it was small and difficult to access). **Q: Is this big enough to hold two kickboards and fins?** A: Yes, in fact it's big enough for three kickboards and three pairs of fins (some of them child-sized), plus several semi-deflated beach balls. My kids don't share. The bag is huge. **Q: What are the dimensions for this bag?** A: It is 18" x 24". Hope that helps! **Q: What are the dimensions of this bag?** A: 22" H x 17" W (widest is the base) x ~11" D. These are rough estimates taken when my bag was full of swimgear. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A game-changer for my paddle boarding exercise *by D***Y on August 15, 2024* The Speedo Unisex-Adjust Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Bag has been a game-changer for my saltwater paddle boarding trips.
