SOULWIT Headband for Bose QC15/QC2 - Black

I was very surprised at how good the quality and ease of installation was with the Soulwit headband cover replacement for my Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones. Disappointingly, the original headphone band cushion on my Bose rotted out only a couple of years out of warranty from minimal usage (oxidation?) and was now a sticky rubbery mess (anytime you touched the rotted portion, you got this black goo residue on your fingers/hair), so I had stopped using them. At the time, Bose did not sell any replacement parts, so these went in a box in the closet for many years. But, I was taking getting ready for my first plane trip in years and wanted to have some defense against the loud drone of the airplane and typical screaming babies on my 6 hour flight, so I looked into what options there were for fixing up my old Bose, or if I needed to buy new headphones altogether. This headband replacement popped up an installation video I found on YT, and although I was a little skeptical, I bought them. Installation was incredibly easy, they even include a handy screwdriver with a rotating top for you to easily remove and reinstall the clips that hold the OEM headband in place. The instructions were easy to follow and the install only took about 10 minutes; you do have to cut the old headband off, which feels weird. The new headband is 2 pieces which snap together over the inner metal band of the headphones. I was amazed at how good the fit was and the cushion quality is as at least as good as the OEM headband. I highly recommend these quality replacements to get that OEM look and feel back for your Bose QC2/15 headphones for an extremely reasonable price! Easy peasy!

After years of use, the headband on the Bose headphones started to deteriorate. Flakes of black vinyl all over everything. I put them away and then one day thought, "There has to be a solution!" These are that solution. I can't vouch for the longevity as I've just installed them, but they fit well, and snap together firmly. Getting the old headband pad off takes a scissors, so be careful of the cord that runs through the headband itself. This cover snaps apart, then snaps together over the headband. The only fiddly bit is to get the endcaps situated so they secure the pad well...there is a notch for the screws to reinstall the endcaps, and once you sort that out they go in easily with the included screwdriver. The screwdrive is even magnetized to make it easier to drop the screws right in and drive them home. All in all a good replacement. I couldn't find them on the Bose site, but Bose is generally expensive for parts.

Headband appears to be of good quality. Installing was a little fiddly but once in place looks good and matches the ear cups. Looks and feels just like the original.

Too bulky do not fit!!!! The attachment buckles at the end of both sides do not fit over this band, my headphone slide adjustments do not engage. The slide goes up into the band now instead of down towards the ear cups no longer engaging the notches to extend the headphones. Crap design and instructions are written in broken English. I have pushed the pad up as far as they can go and they barely clear the notches on the steel frame. Pad is too long and too wide. Hopefully I can put my old band back on as I did not follow the directions when they tell you to cut the old band off. These plastic buckles are older and become more delicate over time and the preasure on this will surely break them or possibly strip out the screws. Not worth it, buyers beware. Qc15s Update, being the stubborn mechanical engineer that I am and want to close this up, I made modifications. In order to match my previous headband taper I made some cuts. One internal incision to create a gusset and alow some give width wise and I clipped the corners to create more of a taper not to exceed the buckle clamp and match my previous headband. Buckle fitment is now correct and clamp on my earphone adjustment is now engaged and no longer slides into the headband. Correcting the width and clamp fitment also corrected the length. Headband goes notch to notch on the steel bar. Would have been perfect install had they tapered the band properly.

The headband was very easy to install and has enabled me to keep my 15+ year old headphones look as good as new. The quality is not as high as the original Bose headband but it’s more than acceptable given I get to still use these headphones so no real complaints. I just hope it lasts a few years at least. The comfort is good and the size is exactly like the original. Highly recommend purchasing the Bluetooth adaptor for the Bose QC15 to keep the headphones updated with the times.

Quick installation and excellent value for the price. Would highly recommend. I love my Bose Quiet Comfort 15 headphones and didn't want to get rid of them. Instead I opted to replace the headband when it suddenly wore out. It took me only 12 minutes to remove the old one and replace with the new one. The included screw driver made the process easy. Instructions were clear enough to follow. The new band is soft and as comfortable as the original. It is easier to wipe down, in fact.

Excellent product. Very good replacement for the factory headband, which eventually disintegrates. The factory foam is one piece that you simply cut away and then this has a really great design where it’s two pieces and clips together. Ultimately it is in distinguishable and look and feel from the OEM headband. It is just as comfy and luxurious feeling. I highly recommend.

A bit anxious before proceeding with the replacement operation as it is a one way decision, the old headband should be cut. The instructions are very clear. It took less than 8 minutes to make the replacement. This replacement Headband Pad Kit fitted perfectly to my old Bose QC15. Very happy with this renovation. Thanks.

Really good product. Slightly higher on the price side. Even though it fits well with the product.I recommend it.

Les dimensions ne sont pas tout à fait adaptées au QuietComfort 15. J'ai du bricoler un peu (rogner/couper à certains endroits) de manière à pouvoir l'insérer correctement dans les fermoirs latéraux (et qui ne sont pas complètement fermés d'ailleurs). Après ce bricolage qui m'a pris une bonne vingtaine de minutes, je suis arrivé à un résultat relativement propre. L'ensemble semble de bonne qualité malgré tout.

Di buona qualità. Facile la sostituzione, basta un po’ di pazienza.
