Sizing is a bit large. Lace is the type that would snag easily if your kid is rough on their clothes. The neckline being lace avoids the problem of similar dresses that are solid on top as the solid ones are kind of stiff and may stick out away from the body with different movements. This dress avoids that because the lace is a little stretchy. We ordered several dresses, trying to decide on the best flower girl dress and many are itchy.
