Durable - will last forever.
I am using this with 4x6 cards in a storage box for my garden seed envelopes. This is a condition of being handled with dirty hands and possibly getting wet. They are great for this application or any other where there will be a lot of use and abuse.

Yes! These are indeed index cards!
I think a few weeks ago, I purchased what I thought were index cards, and when they arrived, they were so paper thin that they were useless for my purpose of using them in an index card file. I thought of strengthening them by adding a plain index card but to my dismay, the tabs were so flimsy it ended up not working at all. So if you are looking for truly index cards that are sturdy, colorful, and tabbed, these are the ones for you.

These are great for my OG recipe box. Thick and sturdy and pretty colors. They work great.

Best seed organizer ever!
Great product, variety of selection and colors, good quality and value for your money.It’s the perfect size, comes with dividers and has space for about 100 seed packets.During the Summer as I cut back flowers, I save the seeds in individual 2x3” paper packets.I’m so excited to finally have a wonderful organizer.

Nice and "as expected"
Bought this in preference to the heavier and plasticized one that are pre-labeled. I really like that there are so many cards... I'm taking a Spanish course and will use it to separate cards by topic.

Have been looking for these for a while. The "tab" is actually higher than the comparable 4x6 card so you can see the label & what ever is on it. Not all come this way. Expensive for what you get but if this is what you want, go for it.
