I have recommended this to others as we navigate a challenging world. This book helps us center our eyes on Jesus, releasing our children to him. Solid scripture and Jodie beautifully delivers a very readable message with each topic. May this book bring peace to your heart.

I ah e really struggle praying with scripture and my children are going through some struggles and I was praying but feeling defeated. This book is giving me the structure I needed to pray for my kids and directing me to certain prayers for my children. I am also making my daughter a prayer blanket and using some of these prayers when I make it. I am so thankful for this book. I think this will be a book I will use the rest of my life.

Every Christian parent should be given this amazing book as a resource to know how and what to pray for their children. I now give it to every expecting (Christian) parent I know.

I found this book extremely helpful not only for praying for my adult children but also for praying for myself as I go through these things with them. I highly recommend this book whether you are having issues or just for information as you walk through life praying for you children

Wonderful book—my husband and pray these suggested prayers for our sons each night!

After ordering and reading all 3 “praying the scriptures” I saw that the Praying… for Your Teens covered everything in all 3 books except for 1 thing in the first book-“praying…for your adult children” that I needed. What I needed was a prayer that me, as a mother, would not have a critical, fault finding spirit which I see so many Christian women have today. If you get that under control you won’t need the first book. BUT, if you can’t resist giving your adult children advice instead of just listening you need to read and reread the first one, plus pray for conviction from the Holy Spirit. I grew up with an unsaved mother that was never happy with much of anything I did. I moved 6 hours away and still every phone call was like being a child again. I was saved after she died. I started out just like her but when I was saved at 62 I knew I had to be different. My children are all unsaved and they asked my husband “what happened to mom, she’s changed?” That was the evidence to them that I’d been changed by relationship with Jesus. If you’re a mom, you’ve told them a thousand times what they need to do. From now on just pray the scriptures for them and listen without advice unless they specifically ask. That is a kindness that every adult deserves bcz then eventually they look at themselves instead of being angry at you. (Lest you think it was easy for me I have a 41 yr old drug addict and a 35 yr old alcoholic and one that can’t feel love for her children and I know that Jesus will solve every problem they have.) Both boys are now former addicts and my daughter is coming along. Still all children and spouses are unsaved but are interested in what changed their mom. Yay!

I loved this book. In our ever-changing world, it is a very valuable tool which covers most of modern day prayer needs.

I loved this book. If you want to read about other parents going through what you are going through and want some guidance this is a great read. I loved that there were prayers written out to pray that were scripturally based. I found I looked forward to getting into my quiet time with this book in the morning.
