Work great as a low voltage option, i.e. a 12v smart charger with a 5v buckpuck. Nice and bright. They work great as a backlight according to one's intended use.

Used to refurbish my Yoda head fx wall lamp which hadseveral old LEDs that dimmed over time. I put these in, wired directly to a USB cable, and it works great.
