This tablet is amazing in every way. The display is super smooth and sharp, the performance is fast, and multitasking feels effortless. The build quality is solid and durable—it feels sturdy, premium, and well-made, giving confidence for long-term use. Battery life is excellent, sound quality is impressive, and it’s perfect for studying, streaming, and daily work. Incredible value for the price, and I’m extremely happy with this purchase. Best VFM Tablet with Clean UI
I've been planning to buy a tablet for doing some lightweight work, reading comics and watching videos without distraction. Coming to the product; Pros: 1. Gorgeous high quality IPS LCD screen with high resolution and refresh rate. Won't hold up to amoled for blacks, but will beat most LCD tab screens out there. 2. Sleek design. Most tablets 2x the cost will not have a design as premium as this one. Back is shiny aluminium. The entire device weights about 500g, which is comfortable to handle. 3. Performance is robust with the 870 chipset. The device slightly heats up during heavy sessions but can be managed easily. If possible, go for the 8GB/256GB version as the price difference is negligible. 4. The camera setup is good enough. The back camera takes good daylight pics and average low light pics. Front camera isn't that great but will beat most laptops hands down. 5. Clean, absolutely no bloat UI. Except Google, I've never seen such a clean rom out of the box. However, the additional touches MI did to make Android fit for tablet only adds more to the experience. 6. Multitasking is pretty good with this tablet. Once you learn the controls, it's very easy to open two windows side by side or pop up a third app while working on the other two. 7. Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity is fast, easily matches flagship phones. 8. Finer software touches like Reading mode (paper display), enhanced colour in videos, hdr support, app dock also adds to the overall experience. 9. Quad speakers are really loud and have good sound quality. 10. Charging is fast thanks to the bundled 33w charger. Cons: 1. If you are a graphical designer, you might not like the LCD screen much. Blacks aren't as good as amoled and it shows up in hdr videos. 2. No GPS, LTE or NFC. Except the second one, I'm fine without a gps or nfc. I don't imagine ever using this tablet on the road. 3. The back is too slippery to be used without a case, unless you're using it on the desk or a bed. Holding it on your chest while lying down is also pretty difficult as you'll need two hands to secure this device. 4. The screen isn't bright enough to be used outdoors. This hits 500 nits in manual mode, and that's simply not enough under any bright light. 5. No IP rating. Need to be extra careful during rainy season. 6. There's no fingerprint sensor. You can set up face unlock. Also there's no simple pin option. You've to set a passcode, which brings up the entire keyboard. You'll also need to press enter after putting your passcode. Most of the cons won't affect you much unless you are looking to replace your phone. This tablet fits the bill as a laptop replacement. Also I'd recommend purchasing the keyboard extension accessory and pen which will maximize your productivity. Long term review is still pending but if you have a sub 30k budget and want a great vfm tablet with good screen, clean ui and accessories, you can't go wrong with this device.

The best tablet under 30K
Been using this tablet for over 6 months now, so I feel like I've adequate experience with it to share a long-term review point by point. Pros: 1. Display: The display is a beauty it may not be AMOLED (can't expect at this price) but this IPS display is better than every tablet at this price point. It supports HDR and the content played on it looks marvelous (when it plays properly). 2 Performance: The Snapdragon 870 is an old flagship processor but it still performs great for media consumption, it easily decodes different video formats without an issue, I've tested 4K 10bit HEVC files and they work fine and it is also good enough for mid-level gaming. Combined with a 144hz refresh rate the whole experience is just smooth. You might feel some lag only if you open multiple resource-heavy windows side by side. 3. Battery and Charging: While traveling when I use it for 4-5 hrs a day, it easily lasts for 2.5 days. The default 33W charger goes from 0 to 100 in 90-100 minutes, this speed is acceptable. 4. Speakers: They're decent and loud enough to watch videos in a home environment. 5. Camera: It is a tablet so don't expect much but the front cam works well for video calls and the single rear camera takes good photos if given enough light, also it supports 4K 30fps recording. But again do not compare the cameras to phone cameras in the same range. 6. USB port and storage: It comes with UFS 3.1 and USB Type-C 3.2, both very fast and useful. The USB port supports 5gbps data transfer and video out feature. Many phones in this range don't come with USB 3.2, hats off to Xiaomi for bringing it in this budget. 7. Software: The software is clean and fast, also Xiaomi just updated the device to the new Hyper OS based on Android 14, so the updates scene seems sorted as well. And now Cons: 1. Software: See, the overall software experience is great, everything works smoothly and there is no crappy bloatware, BUT there is a major bug in the software which irritates the hell out of me: The Widevine L1 certificate gest disabled most of the time, and because of that Netflix and Prime video stop working in HD, few workarounds and restarts later everything gets back to normal but then again in few days same thing repeats, so to run Netflix and Prime in HD I have to go through this tedious process and waste 5-10 minutes. This bug has been a part of Xiaomi OS since Pad 5, still, Xiaomi has done nothing to fix it for good. 2. Accessories: The keyboard cover and stylus offered by Xiaomi are too expensive for the price of the tablet, and the third-party pencils available in the market are meh. Xiaomi should have offered the accessories at a discounted price for the customers. 3. Missing 3.5 mm jack and fingerprint sensor: There's enough real estate to put a 3.5 mm jack but Xiaomi chose to be Apple. Also, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor would have been great as the face unlock works well in a lit environment but at night it is useless. 4. No 5G option: There's no 5G option available for the tablet, wish Xiomi offered on variant with 5G. 5. Extended warranty: There's no extended warranty plan from Xiaomi for this tablet, which is disappointing. Except for the Widevine licensing bug, everything else works in the favour of the tab, and I will happily recommend it to everyone.

After 6 months review. It's Good.
After 6 months of usage i don't have much to complain about. It's the best tab at this price range for note taking(my main use case). The stylus pen(bought from xiaomi website separately) is proper for writing, now I have no notebooks lying in my tables or shelves. the 144hz screen is crisp and smooth and youtube plays at 2160p. It does all the other basic stuff just fine. Audio quality is good, the speakers are good, the OS is fine. Only problems I have faced is in Amazon prime video, sometimes the video quality is really bad and there is a procedure that I found on YouTube that you have to follow just to get the video to play at 1080p and it doesn't go beyond that. I noticed other reviews saying angel one stock trading app isn't supported, however I use zerodha and the tab supports that but I use it on my phone because that's the most convenient. But for viewing stock trading charts like trading view app that's very good to look in this tablet. battery life is mediocre, it's not bad but it isn't a strong point either. The cameras too are average, but for video calling and meetings it does the job. As for gaming, i played Minecraft and it works fine but I don't know about other more demanding games. I got it at a discounted price during a sale at that time and for that price it's a steal. For my use I'd give it a 9/10.

Great value for Money! Best in its class!!
BUYED 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM - After using this Tablet for 50 days, I wanted to share my experience. I was cautious due to some reviews mentioning issues after a few days of usage. However, I can confidently say that the Tablet has exceeded my expectations. Powered by the 870 Snapdragon, the performance is exceptional, whether it's gaming, watching videos, or multitasking. The speed has never been a challenge. Despite concerns about the processor being labeled as old in some YouTube reviews, I believe for typical tablet usage—checking emails, watching videos, gaming, or even used for designing and sketching—the 870 Snapdragon handles it superbly. The only thing which I have struggled to do is to drag an image from one app (Google Chrome Images) to the another app (WhatsApp). The Dolby Atmos feature enhances the audio quality, providing a delightful experience on media apps like YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, or Spotify (can be availed from the options for all media apps). The speakers on either side deliver tremendous sound quality, and also help create a seamless and smooth (gitterless) video experience. The camera performs well for video calls and capturing document images in good lighting. Bluetooth connectivity is reliable, without any lag. It's important to note that chasing after the latest specifications, such as an upgraded processor and higher camera pixels, often comes with a higher price tag. Brands that promise extensive specifications at a certain price point may not deliver as they claim. In this regard, I believe this Tablet offers great value without compromising on performance. Cheers!!

At this price point, the device is very good. Widevine issue might be a deal breaker.
The device is very good overall. I mainly used this for entertainment purposes. I don't game on this. If you can workaround the Widevine issue, this is a good device. Writing this review after almost 8-10 days of usage. I recommend a case that lets you use it in landscape mode. 1) Display: It is a 2k display. While the display may not be an OLED display(Don't think any other device in this category has one) it is a very good LCD Display, the colors are very rich and accurate. While there may not be much difference when watching content compared to device with 120Hz, you can notice the 144Hz smoothness in the app drawer and scrolling in general. Also it would be evident in games When I bought this device, I assumed my main issue would be the LCD display but it's not been a problem. 2) Battery Life: Unless you're gaming, you're not going to have much issues on this particular front. I guess I watched 4-6 hours of continuous Netflix at 1080p. Didn't really keep track but I didn't find charging the device annoying. 3) Performance: While the Snapdragon 870 chipset might be a tad bit outdated, it still is a flagship chip. I didn't have any stutters or lags in daily usage, I'd reckon FPS based games on this is no problem. Genshin Impact might get a little too hot at max settings but it does run but you'll notice some performance dips. I have noticed unusual heating issue near the area where you keep the pen though, the device was not doing anything intensive. The 8GB ram handles most of the multitasking well and there is option to extend it by another 8GB of virtual memory/ram plus/memory extension. I would not recommend this as in the long term, it can affect your main storage. I have the 8GB RAM 256 ROM variant, for the price increase over the 6GB 128GB I think it's much better to get the higher tier. Sounds Quality: I don't think you should expect the sound quality you get in a Samsung flagship tablet but the one in this is not bad. If you've used a higher end device and then use this one, you'd notice the sound quality degradation but otherwise you wouldn't and, for this price, it's better than the rest, except maybe the Lenovo one with JBL speakers but that's got it's own set of drawbacks. The speakers on this device gets the job done and I don't have much complaints. Some pros: 1) The front facing camera placement is in the landscape position so for zoom/team calls, it in the ideal place. 2) USB-C port is usb3.2 so you get faster data transmission and display output. You can hook it to an external monitor to display the device or use the device in workstation mode. Some Cons: 1) No fingerprint scanner on this device, you can put face unlock but no face ID so even a picture of your face would unlock the device. Only reliable option I guess would be PIN. 2) This is my biggest issue and it's something most reviewers don't talk about and it's the main reason why I wanted to do a review on this product. The stupid Widevine issue, in regular apps like YouTube this won't be an issue, but in Netflix and Amazon prime video(I only use these 2 so can say only speak for them) you cannot watch videos at higher quality, say 1080p or above straight out of the box. Every week I need to reinstall Certificates to update Widevine from L3 to L1, clear cache and other details from the apps, restart the device, sign in again into these apps to use them properly. It is extremely inconvenient and it's purely Xiaomi's software being crappy and annoying. If you're someone willing to look for the workaround, ONLY THEN GET THIS DEVICE. When I first saw this issue, I thought it was a deal breaker and was about to ask for a refund. I decided to stick with it once I learned of the workaround/fix. 3) Not really an issue but it should be noted that there isn't a compass so things like Google maps are sort of annoying to use. 4) The Xiaomi pad OS is getting better but still has issue where some apps, when in landscape mode, still would be as if in portrait. Just a minor inconvenience.

Best Android Tablet in the Market.
This is review is based on 48Hrs of intense usage. For the price of Rs.25999 this is is the best tablet that Indian market can get. Now coming to the tablet, the Pros are : 1. Snapdragon 870 is a beast when given the correct headroom and cooling. BGMI is constant 60FPS at Smooth with initial Drop lag and render lag. Genshin Impact at High gives 50-60FPS but turning off anti aliasing gives a constant 60FPS. 2. 2.8K screen is greater than 2K with 309ppi and 550NITS can really enhance the experience. Youtube supports 4K, 2K and 1080p including HDR and Dolby support. 3. The battery is BIG with 33W fast charging it is enough. 4. The camera is usable for day to day video calling. 5. Speakers are great as there are 4 of them and they are Dolby enhanced. 6. 144Hz is Smooth but you can set it to 60Hz to save battery. 7. USB is Gen3.2 and not Gen2.0 which is what OnePlusPad comes with. Now Cons :- 1. No 3.5mm headphone jack. Wanted this so bad. 2. No fingerprint reader. Face unlock is Software based and not hardware based. 3. There are some bugs with MIUI but that is true with all early products. Now coming to the products, I have purchased the keyboard and I must say that it is a must. The case is magnetic and doesnt require an extra cable or dongles. The keyboard case is same as the folio keyboard that Apple offers. It is a exceptional product that can act as a substitute for a laptop at same price. Edit 1 :- Netflix and Amazon Prime Video might be capped at 480p since Widevine L1 is not present according to some user. I have not checked it myself yet. Edit 2 :- Widevine DRM for my unit is of L1. I have tried Netflix and it supports up to 4K. Please check your unit can have L3. This could be a bug or release error.
