Very nice item! Exactly what we needed, quite small compact, but fits a set of six case knives that I’ve kept in the drawer for years. I love the small footprint on my counter, it takes up very little room, but looks stunning.

This knife block is fabulous. Holds any type of knife that you have and plenty of them. And then 8 steak knives also A must in your kitchen and yes it is big for so many knives. It’s big but keeps your drawers clear of clutter. Color is beautiful also If you have many knives; this is your one!!!

Solid and exactly as it appears. Plenty of slots of varying size. Heavy as you would want it to be but not heavier than you need. I now have a place for the complete set , the orphans that I picked up from other sets, and even a pair of scissors. Would recommend

I was gifted a bunch of Cutco knives and I wanted a block to put them in. If you know cutco it is not cheap and their block was 5 times the price of this one. This one does the job and looks nice. Holds all my stuff. Worth it and recommended.

Excellent size for my knives and beautiful. I took off a star because my steak knives are a tight fit.

Something we use on the daily. This knife block was what we were looking for. Looks great yet practical. It holds more knives than most the others. Posted picture of it on the counter by the stove to show size proportion. Great buy.

This is a very well made item for a great price. It is heavy and does not tip over. It holds a lot of knives, scissors, and a spot for a meat poker (?) which I use for my food thermometer. It has a row for steak/paring knives. I have a mixed set of utensils, all different brands, but they all fit fine. I try to ensure they are fully dry before putting them in, but just in case it does have an opening at the bottom to allow moisture to escape. The wood is nice quality and the colour is so pretty. It looks like a high end item.

I bought 2 blocks intending to gift 1. Ended up keeping both because the finish was identical and when side by side both blend together perfectly looking like 1 large knife block. Finally have room for my 7 inch cleaver, 8 inch chef, and large nakiri getting them out of the drawer and at fingertips with the rest of my knives. More than enough slots to store complete set of knives when bought as a set. Even though it has quite a few larger knife slots, it still has too many small slots. Essentially 12 steak knives or pairing knives. Wish designers would realize that a 1 inch wide blade can fit into 2 inch slot but a 2 inch wide blade cannot fit into a 1 inch slot. Ended up keeping the second block as I have many wide blades from individual purchases and was still short 2 slots to keep them all together with just 1 block. *This is a problem of my own making and does not take away from the quality of this product.* Luckily I have the counter space and 1 corner that is out of the way to store both. At least now the blocks match seamlessly and drawers are free of large knives. Guess I'll have to order another to send as a gift. This is a quality product that looks elegant on display. The name is visible, but not offensively in your face like some others. It can store large wide knives, and leaves room to expand your set if desired. The dimensions are made available to know if it is right for you. Just remember to measure ALL your blades. I definitely recommend

Is it the best knife block out there? No. Is it the best for the price? Quite possibly. The construction seems solid and it is actual wood, so not much to critique. The honing steel slot is quite small, so there is a decent chance your hone won't fit (none of mine did). I would have preferred different sizes and locations of slots, but they are good enough. It's a little bit rough in the finish in some of the slots, but nothing too bad and doesn't interfere with use (not very noticeable looks wise either if you aren't looking closely or have knives in). Overall I'm quite pleased with it and am happy all my knives are now properly stored. Do be aware that the slots are open at the bottom if you have particularly long knives.
