Just what you need to cover ground post

Works well. Product is meant to cover and protect any exposed cable or grounding rod from damage. Cover helps to protect lawn equipment from coming into contact with the portion of rod that is above ground level and highlights location of the rod to aid in eliminating a trip hazard. This grounding rod protector does EXACTLY what it is intended to do. Not sure about some adults, (R.B.) but even a sixth grader is smart enough to know this.

accidentally uncovered a ground rod in the lawn and bought this to cover it - works perfectly, has a cut out for the cable to the wall as well.

This product is 6" tall and 3" in diameter. Worked absolutely perfect for protecting my grounding rod. Be sure your ground rod and attachment screw will fit as seen in my photos. I also recommend being careful during installation to make sure the three legs of the protector go into the ground straight. On of the legs started to splay outward a bit, preventing me from pushing it all the way into the ground. I pulled it back out, turned it, and held the legs perpendicular to the ground while pushing it in again. That did the trick.

The product is great. I've been looking for something that would cover up the exposed ground rods on the side of my house. One thing that needs to be said is the ground rod needs to be hammered into the ground correctly.
