Great little device. Fast and easy to use.

A small storage device which got for storing large dvds (previously recorded in vro format) converted to mp4. Speady transfers, especially with good software package. Playback quality really good (visual and sound). The compact size means fits in palm of small hands. Have found no issues with device usage, recognised on Win laptops, connection to Apple phone and televisions, all powered by source device

Compact portable SSD. Smaller than I expected so ideal for travel. Speedy transfer of photos with plug & play technology. No messy delays when speed and performance are paramount. Highly recommended.

Excellent product. Small and compact, even came with a converter from usb c to usb port which supports both my laptops. I purchased the specified case to store. This was an excellent addition to protect my drive and store the cable, with room for other similar items.

Great spec and speed. But I did have one that failed after a year and although it was replaced for free, I didn’t expect that. Didn’t stop me buying 3 more

Absolutely brilliant... does the job that I need it to do, had a similar one with a smaller capacity and because of it's great performance bought this one... I'm sure it will be as reliable as the last which I still use and have had it for many years.

Arrived on time, product's what I expected so all good.

I have this SSD— 1TB version for about 12 months at the time of writing this review. An year later, the ssd works like a charm, still 100% life left on it, never crashed or had any issues. Not with the hard drive anyway. However, the big issue was in fact the cable. Kept disconnecting when transferring even if not touching the hard drive. This was randomly. Tried another cable (a cheap one) and it was doing the same. Both tried with another SSD— same issue. Then I got a high-quality one from Amazon and all issues were fixed. Not once disconnected ever since. The cable could either have lose design when connected to the SSD or the power transfer to be too low (underpowered SSD’s and hard drives often randomly disconnect for this reason) Transferring data is fine and pretty fast. Not always checking the speeds which fluctuates from device to device (used with a windows PC, MacBook and mainly an iPad Pro) but perfect compatibility on ExFAT format. But anyway. Fair enough— one year ago was a bit more expensive, yet, a really good value for your money, both the 1 and 2TB versions. Still pleased with it and fully recommend it. 5 stars and not going to drop just because of a cable.

Die SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD überzeugt vor allem durch ihre sehr hohe Schreibgeschwindigkeit. Das ist der größte Pluspunkt für mich, denn im Vergleich zu anderen Festplatten fällt deutlich auf, wie schnell Daten übertragen werden können. Ich bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät. Die kompakte Größe ist praktisch und macht die SSD sehr mobil. Auch das Design ist ansprechend und wirkt robust. Abgesehen von der Geschwindigkeit ist es im Grunde eine typische externe SSD – sie erfüllt zuverlässig ihren Zweck, ohne besondere Überraschungen. Genau hier liegt aber auch der Vorteil: sie funktioniert einfach und unkompliziert. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte externe Festplatte, besonders wenn einem schnelle Schreib- und Lesezeiten wichtig sind.
