Review: Really solid bottle cage - The cage is made from relatively thick, but flexible plastic. It will accommodate different size bottles. It grips even my smallest bottle firmly. It is easy to place a bottle in the cage and remove from them it. This is my second bottle cage from Profile, the first is still going strong after several years (on my other bike).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would these be a good option for rear mounting?  Like on a tri bike?**
A: I haven't tried rear mounting, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't work. These hold the bottle more securely than anything else that I've tried.

**Q: Are these the version with the band at the top, as pictured?**
A: Yes, I take it off, don't need it on a road bike.

**Q: What is the largest bottle diameter these cages can hold?**
A: I'm not sure what the largest diameter is for this cage, but I am able to use a 3.5" diameter, 40 oz stainless steel water bottle for a long time now.

**Q: Does the black version have the nub at the top to keep the water bottle in?  (as shown in the pic of the white holder)**
A: I have an older Profile Design Kage mounted on a Surly Pugsley (from 2011) which did not have the nub shown in the picture. In 2016 I ordered another one from Amazon so that I could carry an additional water bottle, and it DOES have the nub. Evidently, the nub has been added at sometime during this interval. However, BOTH of mine hold a bottle very securely, and I don't really worry much about launching water bottles.
