Great upgrade
I had to dent the hood a little for the hood to shut completely, but it works great!

Looks great too bad it will not fit.
I really wanted this product to work . I installed the assembly like the picture included. The passenger side ran into interference with the battery. I switched the left and right brackets and moved the battery over for clearance. The gas springs bottomed out too soon even after moving the brackets further apart. The gas shocks still bottomed out early even though installed them at fully extended.

Only need to setup one side and flip the rod to the inside like my picture.
Please read reviews for the proper way to install on 300zx ! Worked wonderfully on mine.

This does not work for this Vehicle.
The Hood doesn't shut.

Very good product.
Worked swell on my Z, granted I only used one and had to figure out how to make it work properly so the hood wouldn't bulge, but I got it!
