easy set up cheap home security camera, it also lets you link multiple cameras to your phone at the same time

I ordered these to record 24/7 in my mobile tattoo studio for security purposes, since I am a woman and the only person working in the studio 90% of the time. It’s also good for monitoring the studio after hours. The motion detector can be shut off during business hours and activated upon closing. It will alert my phone if there’s a break in during the night or on off days. It’s also pretty low profile and not easily noticeable, despite the sign on the door alerting people to the 24/7 recording. The reason I chose this over other brands, is the 24/7 recording function and another reviewer stated that a 256g micro SD was able to store 168 days of footage, making it to where I only have to dump security footage a couple of times per year. The only pitfall is that it seems to need a strong WiFi connection in order to send alerts and for remote monitoring. Even if my phone shows a moderate signal, the camera doesn’t seem to function on the same amount of signal. I’ll update this review if I encounter any issues, since I only installed it a few weeks ago.

I bought this camera when we were remodeling our house. There were times when we had be away and leave our home in the control of contractors. We put our personal files in a locked in a closet. The camera allowed us to record anytime the closet door opened. The video is very good including for recording in low light.Now, I am using the camera to monitor my elderly dog. He sometimes lays down on slippery tile and is unable to get up. I don't want him to get stuck for hours while I'm at work and no one is home to help him.Since he hangs out at his dog bed near the front door, I can periodically check on him, and know he is okay.My major complaint is the mounting. It doesn't stand on its own. It needs to be screwed in to a mount of some sort. The charging port is blocked the mount and is very difficult to see.It's great when you don't need to touch it, and a pain when you do.

I've bought 2. It's very easy to set up! I did have a question and called customer service (especially nice to have the # in the instructions). The man that answered helped right away and was very nice. I love that you can set it to not record when your pet is roaming around. Charge holds really well too. This is little, but I was glad to find a black one. Easier to hide.

This was a waste of money. I spend way too much time struggling with this camera getting it to work, even when it's plugged in. It keeps complaining about my network not being stable (my network works just fine with my two YI cameras). When I DO get it to work, it tends to drop off the network, which makes it useless if I'm away for a long period of time. Went away for 3 weeks last summer, and the camera shut off after two days (even though it was plugged in) and I could not get it working again remotely through my phone. You can only power it off/on physically. Every time I power it off to move it and then power it on, I can spend 20-60 minutes trying to get it to work (a real pain in the ass) and start recording (when I try to access the video, it just spins and spins till I get the unstable network error). On battery power, forget it! For a security camera, it is UNRELIABLE .I am a techie and I can see no reason why it struggles so much connecting to my network, even when it is near my router. It also comes with a very short charging cord/power cord. Good luck plugging it in and trying to get it to reach a window or wherever you want to put it! When I do get it working, you can't stand it up with the camera at the top because the power cord connects to the bottom, and if you stand the camera up the other way, the lens can't see over a window frame of even a 1/2 inch unless you put something under it to raise the height. Overall, just really bad design and engineering. Wish I could get my money back, but it's too late. It's going in the junk drawer never to see the light of day again.

Have purchased several over the last couple of months. I have been very please with how easy they are to setup and leverage throughout our property. I am currently only using the Free services on them (3 days of cloud storage and no enhanced AI motion detection). This has been Perfect for our needs. This is the third cam I have purchased to keep an eye on my dog when I am out. The first 2 stopped connecting and were useless. But THIS camera connects every time! The picture quality is awesome and I LOVE the fact that it doesn't have to be tethered to a cord to work. I wish it swiveled so I could get a full room view but since my dog mostly lays by the door when I am gone, that's where I aim the camera. It has a long stand-by time so I don't have to charge it often. And the mic works great too! Now if you make one on a stand that I can make rotate, I will buy that!

It was good for catch movement and record only 20 seconds but I fully charger my camera and it was on one cell back the next day and my put side camera of a different brand I charged it before I charged the vision well camera and I am still and a full charge on the different so I sent my vision camrea it's not use for them if I am charging them every day so that why I gave it 3 stars because it's good for the most part just a bad battery life
