ECR4Kids Reach-Up Step Stool with Handles, Kids Furniture, White Wash

We bought these stairs because the quality looked really good and we liked the fact that they have grips on the steps. We purchased it with the intentions of helping my daughter learn how to go up and down stairs for her evaluation due to the fact that we don't have any stairs in the home so she has never been able to do them before. Within minutes she was going up and down this thing. It is very sturdy and was fairly easy to put together. There were some comments about people saying that it is wobbly or that the screws don't quite fit right or align right. We haven't had that issue we used a drill as somebody else's review recommended. As long as you screw in from bottom to top when you screw in the last piece everything will align together once it's tight. It seems very sturdy and haven't had any issues so far.

This thing is solid. Solid wood with a nice finish. Not only does it screw together, but where the pieces meet there are dado joints for added strength. It's perfect for my daughter in the bathroom for washing her hands and brushing her teeth and I like the non-slip surface on the steps. There is no doubt in my mind this thing will last much longer than she'll ever need it. I'm 260lbs and I wouldn't hesitate to stand on this thing.. that's how sturdy it is. My ONLY gripe would be that it was actually quite difficult to run the screws in with the included allen key. I would definitely recommend a ratchet with allen bit or something to give more leveage on the allen key if you're using that. Your fingers will thank you. A+ product though.. Highly recommend!

This is a solid step stool for a toddler. The assembly can be challenging even with two people because you need to make sure the parts fit into the grooves as you tighten the screws. Make sure you have two people throughout assembly. The stool has been sturdy and I appreciate the grip tape on the steps and the handle bars on the side as safety features. It’s also the perfect height. My two year old can wash his hands at the kitchen sink perfectly when standing on the second step. I would recommend this step stool to other parents.

Easy to build. Strong and sturdy. Bought for my young nieces so they can reach all the levels of their 6ft doll house. It is large but it is sturdy and won’t tip or fall with both my nieces on it. Looks like wood and not cheap. It’s coated wood so it would be easy to clean with wet wipes. Husband has used it as well after surgery to get into our bed. Perfectly fine for 200lb adult. Solid but light enough for my 3 yr old niece to push it around on hardwood floors.

Very easy to assemble, great height for our tiny powder room with a pedestal sink-the step height is large for a two year old, so we have had some falls in the learning process and try to supervise use, and enforce holding the handles and not playing in it! The top step is pretty high so I could see an injury of a fall happened from that level, my one con, is it’s hard to clean the skid proof areas, a wet rag doesn’t cut it, the abrasive texture traps all kinds of bathroom gunk-but the product itself we are very happy with!

My son is 2.5 yo and he is about 36 inches tall. He has been very independent and always wanted to wash hands himself. We had a plastic small stool for him but it was way too short, he could barely reach the running water in the sink. Today we received this toddler steps, assembled it under 5min (needed two adults to do so), and have my son to try it out. He was soooo excited and he loved it! Finally he could turn on the tap, grab the hand soap and turn off the water all by himself. We should have bought this way earlier!

We’ve had this stool for two years now. It was perfect for our 18month old (whose now almost 3!), and I think it will work for us for another few years. He loves making cookies with me, and it lets him play with his toys at the counter while I cook. It’s not as safe as a Montessori tower (see below—could be a problem for very adventurous climbers) but I am comfortable with the safety features it has. Pros: low profile, with the added safety of side handles Sturdy Treads help with keeping little feet in steps Beautiful design Can be used for years Cons: treads can get dirty/caked food. Need to be washed with soap and water. Children can fall over the edge of the stool if moved away from the counter (we have a firm rule that the stool ONLY stays in one place in our kitchen) Kids can use vertical riser on the top tread as an additional “stair” to get on the counter (we have a firm rule about this too) As kids get older, they can lean against/over handles, risking toppling over them. By then, they are usually pretty sturdy on their feet and it’s less of an issue.

Purchased for our Toddler’s classroom. It works perfect for them to be able to reach the sink to wash their hands. It’s sturdy and well made. Was very easy to put together.

I had my school purchase this so that our Kindergarten students could safely reach the classroom sink. Two years later I purchased one for my toddler to use at home! So very impressed with its quality!
