You know, this didn't smell tasty but my dog seems to enjoy it. And I can tell she has much less acid reflux with this one. I buy this one & Nutrish gentle. And it's helped her immensely

Great for Sensitive Stomachs
My dog has a sensitive stomach and this Purina Pro Plan wet food has been working really well. The salmon and rice recipe seems gentle on digestion, and my dog actually gets excited for mealtime now. The pate texture is easy to serve, and it leaves their coat looking healthy and shiny too. Great quality overall for dogs with sensitive skin or stomach issues.

Great dog food for sensitive stomach & picky eaters!
Nov. 2025 UPDATE.... this food is amazing for my 10yr old Siberian Husky & 17 mo puppy! It is great alternative a few times a week with their digestive issues! I highly recommend this food for dogs with digestive issues, gas & diarrhea! My dogs have been using this food for the last 60 days with great results! I NEVER had a dog that was a picky eater until I got a red field golden retriever! All my other dogs were gobblers! My 15mos old red field golden retriever has a sensitive stomach & picky eater since she was 3mos old. I have tried many different brands of sensitive dog food in the past year; she loves this combination! I even tried Blue Buffalo Blissful Belly, Fresh Pet & Farmers dog; she walked away from the food? So far Purina Pro Plan Sensitive stomach dry & wet food are my girl's favorite... when she does decide to eat. Perhaps it is the seafood base?

Great food. A little pricey.
We feed our GSD the kibble form of this mostly. But, some days he's a little finicky. While he refuses the kibble, he never refuses this wet version. He loves the taste and texture, and enjoys the same benefits on his coat, skin, and sensitive stomach. It's high quality, and somewhat expensive as a result (the only real downside). It also is somewhat grey in appearance. Which is fine, but initially, I wondered if the can had spoiled (was expecting it to be brown).

Made my dog have diarrhea for 8 days straight after only 1/2 can. He wouldn’t touch it a the smell is horrible! No one should have to clean up 7 poops at one time!!

Pricey but it worked for our boy
Our boy surprisingly took to this wet food very well! He's such a picky eater and it's so hard for us to find a kibble let alone a wet food to aid a sudden allergy transition for him with. And this alongside our salmon kibble has been such a great combination. He did get tired of it after two days of just the wet food for his belly reset, but once the new kibble was introduced with the wet, he has been eating like such a champ. Very happy with the choice, but dissatisfied with the cost. 12 cans should not have to cost $45. 🤷♀️🤷♀️

Excellent product. My Chihuahua-mix loves both the salmon and turkey. He is 9 and in perfect health. I also get the sensitive stomach kibble and give both at each meal. Happy doggie!

I think the consistency is too mushy. It’s more like a cat food. My dog didn’t seem to know how to eat it. She kept trying to pick some up with her teeth but it was too soft. She got fed up and just tried to turn her dish over every time. I mixed in some hard food and that seemed to help.
