Also, for people with light-sensitive eyes, including post-cataract surgery patients, because: the special filter blocks horizontal light rays which are harmful to the human eye polarized lenses reduce the reflected glare from the water, snow or long, flat surfaces such as the bonnet of the car or the road surface polarized sunglasses improve comfort and visibility, and give more brightness and contrast of the image without optical distortions do not distort the natural colours 100% blocks all types of UV sun rays (UVA,UVB,UVC). How Do Polarized Lenses Work? Light reflected from surfaces such as a flat road or smooth water generally is horizontally polarized. This means that, instead of light being scattered in all directions in more usual ways, reflected light generally travels in a more horizontally oriented direction. This creates an annoying and sometimes dangerous intensity of light that we experience as glare. Review: Three Stars - A little bit expensive Review: Great sunglasses. - Great sunglasses.
