Code Gamers Development: Lua Essentials: A step-by-step beginners guide to start developing games with Lua

I like this book, as I have always wanted to develop my own game, and this was just the guide I needed. The author covers a lot of ground by doing so in a step-by-by manner that is easy to understand and follow. I have some coding experience, but this book allows you to be a complete beginner and still develop a simple game. All technical concepts are explained so you gain a sound understanding. I highly recommend it!

Beware the size of this book is way too small. The images provided are cramped and are not the easiest to view. If I knew this before buying I'd of purchased something else.The quality of the writing is yet to be determined. I'll rewrite this at some point.
