White Birdhouse w/3D Tree and Bird

I have two bird houses in my back yard. This one is hanging from the deck. It is my favorite. Its solid wood with a metal roof. The birds have returned to my yard. I love watching them.

I purchased this smaller birdhouse in white to use as a gift this Christmas. The recipient loved it. The birdhouse definitely has an attractive look and design to it, without being terribly expensive, like some can be. I was impressed with the look, and the painting overall was good. I also liked the metal roof, which adds additional character to it, making this a birdhouse not only good for birds, but also for decor, if that is what you would prefer. This birdhouse is rustic in style. The wood used in making it is not really thick or super smooth. It does have a door that slides open in the back, making it a birdhouse easy to clean out when needed - you do not have to take it apart and reassemble it to clean. I also chose this birdhouse for the size of its hole for the birds who want to nest in it. So many bird houses seem to have much larger holes (for larger birds), but the larger the hole, the more chipmunks and squirrels can get into the birdhouse as well as the birds, and damage it.

6-24-24 It's a nice addition to your yard for attracting birds but we found that the 1.8 " entry hole is large enough for sparrows to go into. We bought it to entice smaller birds such a chickadees or wrens. Not this house. 6-25-24 Update: I stand corrected to the above note. With closer inspection I found that the sparrows pecked at the hole to make it large enough to fit their size. Unfortunately In doing so they knocked out the wrens and took over. I will buy more perhaps next year! Thanks!

I bought this little birdhouse to add some decor and whimsy to my garden, which it does. I didn’t expect much in terms of usefulness or durability. I was surprised when I went out to my garden today and found twigs inside, showing it is a home for some bird. The fact that birds are actually using it is plus. I hope to get a glimpse of what birds go in and out at some point.

Love this birdhouse. It has a cleanout port in the back and is very sturdy . I mounted it on a pole so it was important that it becsturdy. The one I purchased that I am replacing with this one flew apart in a wind storm.

Not well built. The back cover does not fit (it was incorrectly cut and is too long, extending below the opening and abutting the bottom edge), but this will be an "okay" outdoor tabletop item.
