Very good
Wow it scared the life out of me, it keeps all cats and fox’s away as I heard them running from the noise. Brilliant

It's brilliant
I have got the problem with the foxes coming to my garden everyday, and they are making mess everywhere. Which then I have to clean everytime. It's is a big headache to clean fox mess. Since I bought this alarm it does helping me to keep foxes away from my garden. It has got dog barking sound on it, which scares the foxes, that's how it's helping me to keep the foxes away from my garden. It has got a button which you can control the volume of the alarm. I will recommend this to everyone.

Startlingly obvious weakness!
What's the use of a dog bark alarm if it makes itself known as artificial at an unoccupied property? It would wake occupying residents as night - yes - but as a property alarm for use when out, pointless. This is less a home security device than animal scarer. Furthermore it's too loud to use outdoors at night around neighbours. What it needs to be able to do is allow use indoors via a discrete sensor at an entrance, which sets the barking off if movement is detected. That way a would-be intruder may think the house has a dog and thinks twice.

Worth every penny
Unfortunately a predator dug under my run & killed one of my girls despite everything being very secure & motion detector lights on all four corners. I attached this with a zip tie to the area of the run that faces the woods. When I turned it on it scared the crap out of me, the chickens, & my dogs 😆. It's loud & turns on with motion. So far so good. I'm hoping it lasts as long as my motion detector lights have. I'm considering buying another one for the other side of the run.

I love this thing. Its scary and effective.
This baby would scare off anything from coyotes, to racoons, to burglars. Its like a SWAT team is hot on your tail. The sound is loud and clear, but can be turned lower if you have neighbors. Never fails to pick up motion. I now have two, but the first is still going strong over two years later, which is impressive. Total solar power, and never runs out of juice. Oddly, my dogs and chickens are not scared of this, but I've had no predator losses since buying the first one. Good investment.

effective
These help to fend off unwanted critters but sometimes will switch to a crazy chinese yelling person for no reason. Pricey but effective.

This thing works on deer for a little while
I had it set to the lowest volume on gun shots & dog bark. The first morning at 2:50 a mama deer and fawn casually walked up to eat more of my tomato plants and were met with gun shots, dogs barking and red lights flashing. They looked at it for a moment and decided to turn around and go somewhere else. Ideally, I would like the volume level to be adjustable somewhere between medium and low volume, but ... I live in a residential neighborhood. The high and medium volumes at day or night would be annoying to the neighbors. I think the low volume is a bit marginal, whereas being able to set the volume exactly where I want it would be socially and functionally optimum. After a couple of weeks of use, the deer are no longer concerned about it. The neighborhood cats see it as a toy to be challenged, or just ignored. Last night it decided to changed the volume from low to high, all by itself. It's losing my trust. Perhaps it could be used to scare kids on Halloween by recording some eerie sounds, or just using the gun shots and dogs barking preprogrammed recording.

Cheap but functional / recording not loud
Not exactly what I expected. I thought it had various sounds plus option to record. FACT: it only has gunshots and dog sound and option to record. I thought okay, I will just record other sounds I want but the recording playback is nowhere near as loud as the pre recorded sound, which IS loud. In fact, I am a police Dispatcher. Do us all a favor and don’t use this with close neighbors! They WILL hear and call! It comes with short USB charger. Don’t know how long it holds charge - OIM indicates weather and sunlight effects charge. OIM: clear and easy to follow! Don’t even have to search through 15 languages to find English. When motion is detected and prerecorded sound is triggered, a bunch of bright red LED lights flash. This basically tells human intruder that it’s a recording, probably good idea so they don’t start shooting back. It will likely scare a bear or other wild animal away. I might try it in my truck - traveling. I can keep it charged and when I am at a hotel and leave my kayak in the truck, I can just lay it somewhere, out-of-site, so it will fall or move if the kayak moves. The recording stops shortly after motion stops. It will wake everyone and yes 911 will get calls, the offender would be gone and the alarm would not be tripped again until reset on the kayak. Effective in getting attention and running the offender off from the lot but not a repeating problem for local cops.
