These are extremely comfortable shoes. the insole supports your arch, the outer sole has great traction, and the fit is perfect. The insole is cushioned so your feet don't get tired, and, believe it or not, they are quite stylish. I bought two pair, one for work, one for play. I highly recomend this product to anyone who is on their feet all day.

Bought this boots for my 12 year old son for a trip to Iceland in April. The boots are true to size and very comfortable. They have great support and traction for hiking on rocks and slippery surfaces. He didn't have time to wear them in, but he wore them for a week straight and didn't get a single blister (and there was a lot of walking!). They are waterproof- his feet stayed dried through rain, puddles and getting soaked behind a waterfall. They look great, are lightweight and he said he will keep wearing them even after the trip. 100% recommend and would buy again if needed.

Sturdy, nice fit and well worth the price. I've owned this pair of boots now for about 8 months. They are not waterproof but they are solid. I wear them to work and hiking. It's been hard to find a good pair of boots for a good price but I'm very satisfied with these

This is the third pair of these that I have purchased. I can not recommend these enough. The first pair is ten years old, was purchased to wear at the barn I volunteered at, worn while working horses, has always been my “work boots” to this day. The second pair were purchased four years ago to wear to school. I’m a high school teacher. I have worn these boots to school every day for the past four years and they still look amazing. The tread has worn through in a few places on the bottom, but there seems to be another layer beneath that does the job. My feet have never hurt. The only reason I had to buy the third pair was because I left them out and my puppy chewed them a bit, so they don’t look right for work, and the first pair is finally losing one of the soles after ten years of hard country work. So, the chewed school shoes will now become my horse working boots, and I’ll probably wear these new ones to school for the next five years. Honestly, for the price I can’t believe how long these boots last and how great they look. I’ve had to replace the laces a couple of times, but that’s it. Over all a great boot I would recommend to anyone. Comfortable, great ankle support.

I've been a fan of HI-TEC shoes for many years. They always came well packaged in a nice box. When I worked outdoors on the farm, I went through them fast and always kept a spare pair in the box for when the old pair gave in to the mud and wetness during rainy season. Low and behold these arrived and... no more box! They arrived in a thin plastic bag instead. When I opened the bag, the chemical odor was strong because the shoes couldn't breathe in the bag since manufacture like they could in a box. The bag trapped in the rubber, glue, and other manufacturing chemicals, which readily transferred to my hands and hasn't washed off after several hand washes. When they were in a box where they could out gas and be ready to wear. I'd planned to use these immediately, but now I have them sitting outside in the sun to outgas for who knows how long. I was planning to use the box they used to come in to store them neatly near the equipment I use between training sessions, so they would be protected. I'll come back to update my review so far as comfort and durability when they outgas enough to be wearable. Suffice to say, I'd be happy to pay more and get a box instead of a jumbled-up bunch of shoes flopping around in a bag that smells. Cutting corners devalues the product. One shoe was stuffed with paper in the shoe. The other wasn't. Very bad packaging experience!

These Hi-Tec went beyond my expectations. Perfect Fit with absolutely nice insoles. I will be finding another pair if these high quality boots give out. The packaging was nice, no damage to the boot. And they are a very High Styling Boot. An Absolutely High quality Made Hiking Boot !

It's as comfortable as what I come to expect from Hi-Tec, this is my 4th pairs over the past 15 years!

I wore these boots about ten times over a three month period when I noticed some separation around the toe on one of the boots. Thought it might just be settling and a bit of stretch from wearing in. Embarked on a two month trip to have both boots fail around the same place on the toe.

I just purchased probably my 5th pair of hi techs. Undoubtedly the best shoes ever. I wear a pair for regular use and when my work pair wear out buy a new pair and move old ones into work mode. I work outside on all types of cerfaces and they last literally for years. I'm a big boy and put them though a heck of a workout. I have found that a good pair of insoles are worth adding simply for additional comfort
