I have a Hyrox coming up this December and wanted to work on sandbag lunges at home. I've had this bag now for about a month filled with 40# of sand and there have been no sand leaks, the sand is stable in the bag and the handles and fabric are so far durable, properly spaced and sized. The zipper seems heavy duty and the double-velcro'd inner bag works perfectly to keep the sand contained and stable. Overall the bag is very similar to the pro sandbags at my gym. I readily recommend this bag.

this thing is very well built. super tough! the fabric is extra thick and the handles and straps are as well. they feel like seat belt material - very strong. the zipper is on the side and it is kinda difficult to load it with sand, but thats why they give you smaller bags to use. i didnt use the extra smaller bags though because i want to fill every available space with sand and pea gravel and the smaller bags leave empty space in the big bag. I put 2 bags of pea gravel in mine using a heavy duty construction bag as a liner. I am talking about the woven fabric kind of bags you get at lowes - not the thicker trash bag type. when these 2 bags of pea gravel are compacted it only takes up about half the space and weighs 90 pounds. i plan to fill the rest of the bag tonight. I wish they designed it to load from the end, but that's not a deal breaker. I love all the handles -- makes it easier to workout with - very functional. I think it could easily hold 150-180 pounds and i highly doubt it will ever rip or tear. Loved the price too!

Ive been using almost every day for a couple years. Its help up very well with all the slamming and throwing around. The handles havent broken, zipper is still good.

Absolute junk. I've had two, both times the handle tore. The second one came off with a gentle tug. There was no sand in it. Too cheap, low quality, didn't last a single lift on both occasions.

I'll be honest, I was very impressed right off the bat after opening the box. I was hesitant on how the sand bags would hold up but to my surprise, they stayed seal throughout my workouts and I have yet to have a spill. The handle on the bags are stitched on real well and I was able to raise the intensity of my workouts without the bag giving signs of giving out. The sandbag makes a great alternative to weights which can be really expensive. The best workouts I had were deadlifts, squats, curls, press, and core strength exercises. Overall I think it has the potential to be a valuable piece of gear to have for workouts.

I've been looking at getting a sandbag for some time. However, I wanted something that didn't leak sand--couldn't really find one that didn't leak any sand and getting one prefilled with something else and offering no adjustability was out of the question. Saw the RDX bag and read reviews and found no mention of leaking sand in the prefilled weight bags. The ability to adjust weight appealed to me; and since the biggest complaint I saw was one of durability when it came to dragging and slamming the bag, I made the purchase realizing those were not good options for this bag. It came withing 4 days after I purchased. One of the sand weight bags had a rip in the stitching--which, is not an issue. I'll just have it restitched. The sandbags inside contain plastic bags with sand. So leakage is at a bare minimum. Use for conditioning and olympic style lifts. Also, weight displacement is not as extreme as regular sandbags--which, is a good thing for someone approaching 65.

I bought this because it was pretty cheap compared to most sandbags I’ve seen. It’s been about 2 months, and I can’t say enough good things about it. My friends have some serious brand name bags that they throw around and slam, and I’ve done the same to this bag and I see no rips, stitching is holding up fine, the handles are still holding strong. This is a quality bag, well worth the price and then some.

Super sturdy and easy to clean. I brought this on vacation so I could workout on the beach in the morning. Easy to pack, easy to dump sand and honestly you could use it as a small duffle bag.

This is a decent bag for the price. However, 7 months in, the inner bag's stitching has come out by 50%. It was double-stitched. Now it's single-stitched, and has started leaking a fair amount of dust through the compromised seam. Next time I think I'll order from Goruck and leave the cheaper bags behind. Buy cheap and end up spending more in the long run. Buy somewhat expensive but better quality and you won't be constantly replacing equipment.

It’s working out very well. Strong material and stitching. Seams remain closed. I don’t use it for slams so I don’t know how long it would last doing them. It’s waterproof, which is important, because my workouts are outside all year round. Lifts are key and this Sandbag may be the missing piece to my functional workouts. I’m so pleased with this product and can’t say enough good things about it.
