Effective but Strong, Best for Non-Sensitive Skin and Consistent Use
I purchased the ASEPXIA Acne Astringent Lotion 1.86% Salicylic Acid to help manage acne on my skin. This lotion is quite effective at reducing acne and controlling oil, but I found it to be a bit strong for sensitive skin. If you have delicate skin, you may experience some dryness or irritation initially. The product requires consistent use over time to see significant results. It’s not an instant cure, but with daily application, my skin gradually improved fewer breakouts and less shine. The lotion has a light texture and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. The 1.86% salicylic acid concentration is a good balance between potency and tolerability for most skin types except very sensitive ones. Best Product for Ance!
This product is my holy grail for treating my acne. Be aware that it is not actually lotion, but a watery liquid. I place some product on a cotton ball and gently tap areas that have acne (about once every other day). It will dry your pimples out, so be careful to not place it where it is not needed because it will dry your skin A LOT. Also, moisturizer is important! I put some on after 5 minutes of leaving Aspexia. I use a gel moisturizer since I have very oily skin (recommend Clinique). I also use their yellow face wash with an exflotiator sponge and their makeup remover wipes.
