This black notebook feels like it’s made from quality materials from the moment you pick it up. The cover is sturdy and well-made, and the pages inside are thick and durable. The paper is smooth and easy to write on, with no scratchy feel, which makes writing for longer periods comfortable and enjoyable. One feature I really appreciate is the table of contents at the beginning. It’s a simple but thoughtful addition that makes the notebook feel more organized and intentional. I also love that it has a built-in spot to hold a pen, which is incredibly convenient and helps keep everything together when I’m on the go. I plan to use this notebook as a daily journal, and it feels perfectly suited for that purpose. The plain, solid black cover is one of my favorite aspects because it gives a clean, minimalist look while also allowing plenty of room to decorate with stickers and personalize it over time. Overall, this is a well-designed, high-quality notebook that I’m very happy with.

This a great little “dot” journal. I paid $12.99 which felt far as it has 320 pages (6 pages of table of contents) The paper is a nice creme colored 100gsm I use mine as a hybrid bujo/dear diary/art journal/mood board and it holds up well, with some wetter gel pens (my go to) and markers (particularly new permanent markers) there may be very light bleed, it’s more so that you can tell what’s on the other side but it’s still useable. But again, I draw and color a lot in mine. When I practice my art lettering I tend to write pretty hard and it will leave a small indent but the pages won’t tear. For Normal people you won’t need to wonder about any of this because your paper will just plain hold up. The dots are very very faint. Which personally I love, they are just guidelines for me. But of seeing the dot clearly is important to you, you may find this off putting. All and all as a life long journaler whose more along the lines of wreck this journal vs pretty princess diary, I say: BUY IT! You’ll love it. However may I please be honest about one last thing? The color is kinda ugly, but that’s okay I always DIY covers using stickers and permanent vinyl. The ugly is only temporary. As for feel it’s a soft but firm leather like material. Classy feeling. Would make a nice gift for someone you just met or don’t know well

Buying a journal is a big deal for me. There’s a million out there. This is the ONE! I love the Cagie journal. She is beautiful! 320 pages, perfectly bound with a 180 flat laying design for the perfect comfort. And you can get her lined, dotted, etc. The paper has a good weight as well and will hold up. It’s not a glaring white either. It’s just right, soft on the eyes. And she offers an awesome index!! I’m not looking back. I’m a lifer here! Thank you so much Cagie for this amazing product! This is the best and you can’t beat the price! Absolutely wonderful product! Get one! You’ll never regret it.

I have been looking for this notebook. I didn't want a full legal pad size, nor did I want a "regular" skinny journal size, so the A5 is just right. I wanted a pen loop, an elastic band to hold it closed, and a small pocket. This fit the bill perfectly. I have tried several that fit the bill but would not hold up to fountain pen ink. So, the first thing I did was to test the paper. This notebook advertises 100gsm. Many of the other notebooks I tried claimed to be 100gsm, but they were not. This notebook feels like 100gsm, and I believe it to be. The pages feel smooth crisp and awesome. I grabbed some ink and pens and tested the notebook with the following nibs: <EF>, <F>, and <M>. and the following inks: Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black, Ostrich 221 Black, Diamine Writers Blood, and Diamine Green/Black. I made some thick lines with heavy line variation, some scribble swatches, writings, drawings, and feeder stress tests in the notebook. There was not one instance of ghosting, shadowing, bleed through, feathering, or any other issue. The reverse side of the page was as usable as the front. The paper is smooth as silk, and it is an excellent notebook. At a far better price than some of the other offering out there. It has an index, an area to write a page number, a date space at the top, and appears very good quality. I am going to immediately order more before they are gone. Most highly recommended!

I bought this to prep lessons and I spent lots of time deciding on this notebook. Price point was a big factor. I’m a long time Bullet Journal girl, but have always used a larger book for prepping lessons. Trying this out. I’m using a micron pm pen and it writes beautifully. Has a bit of tooth to the paper. No bleed through. Also tried a tombow and a staedler highlighter and it didn’t go through. I’m used to dots and a 120gsm, but this fits my needs so far. Lays flat and has more room for my lesson plans. I chose dark brown and it’s gorgeous. The pen holder sits pretty high for such a big book and low key looks ridiculous because my pen is so small. Not sure I’ll really use that loop. Cover a tiny banged up on the spine even after shrink wrapped. I’m going to bang it plenty so it’s all good. Prime deal for the win.

Such a cute journal! The design is beautiful and feels more expensive than I expected. The pages are high quality and smooth to write on, and I love using it for journaling, planning, and keeping track of my thoughts. It’s also the perfect size to carry around without being too bulky. I would definitely buy it again or give it as a gift! It also has plenty of pages, and I really like the elastic band holder.

First impression, the book/journal is very sturdy. Doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. It’s also thick, which I love. The ruled lines are the perfect width . Not too big. Not too small. I appreciate the fact that they added a content page , because I need that. However, once I received my package, I noted marks on the back?? I thought , maybe it’s because of how it was packaged , but these look like little holes, like it was scratched or pricked with a fork. Either way, I’ve been wanting a journal to take notes with for a while, so I’m happy to have something compact and portable .

I spent quite a while looking for a dotted notebook that was simple and well made. This one exceeded my expectations. The cover feels nice and is easy to clean (I purchased the black version). The paper quality is good, with a medium thickness that works well for everyday writing. The dotted grid is subtle without being difficult to see. There are plenty of pages, and the notebook lays flat reasonably well when open. I have not experienced any bleed-through with a regular pen. It also has a nice weight to it—not overly light, but not excessively heavy either. The hardcover feels sturdy and well made. The notebook includes useful features such as: a pen holder attached to the back cover, a ribbon bookmark, and a pocket inside the back cover for loose papers or notes. It also includes a small contents section at the front where you can create your own index and reference page numbers. My only suggestion would be to add faint pre-printed page numbers throughout the notebook. The contents section is a useful feature, but it would be even more practical if the pages were already numbered. Overall, the notebook feels higher quality than many of the other dotted-grid options available on Amazon. If you’re looking for a straightforward notebook with good paper quality and useful features, this is a good option. I would and will definitely buy again.
