Had mine for over two years and it is my go to knife for more or less everything. It holds and edge super well, sharpens easily and doesn't chip or roll too easily when chopping, even through bone. Handle is comfy and has held up to the abuses of being washed in the dishwasher once or twice a day for 20+ months. Good quality material for blade and handle. Size is very comfortable for myself and my partner, the wide cheek of the blade means safe chopping as you can finger guide safely without risking your nails or your knuckles and making it a dream to use. The bolster of the knife is smooth and allows for good finger positioning. It's absolute steal of a price for what it is and the quality you get. Only came back to review as I'm considering buying more or their blades as I end up using this knife for things that a full length chefs knife would be more appropriate for. I recommend this specific knife for anyone who even mentions kitchen knives around me. Superb.

A good kitchen knife a cross between a knife and cleaver a bit more weight so helps if you have to break a bone in meat. very balanced and easy to use and keeps its edge with a little use on a sharpening iron I highly recommend this product.

For the price, this is an outstanding knife, possibly the best value for money I’ve ever owned. I’ve been using it for over two years and it’s become my go-to for almost everything, replacing several of my other knives. The shape is what makes it so versatile, just last night I boned a lamb leg, finely sliced onions for pickling, and crushed and chopped garlic, all with this one knife. It holds an edge well too; I sharpened it once when I first bought it, and only once more since. A quick touch with the steel before each use keeps it performing beautifully. If I had one criticism, it’s that the blade is a little thicker than I’d like. That’s the only reason I’d consider upgrading. That said, it’s hard to find another knife with this shape and this level of quality for the money, or a lot more!

My first super duper chopper and boy is this like using the most fine of blades with such a good quality feel and glides through whatever I’m cutting with ease. Under its own weight, it slices through anything, and it’s a balanced blade too so it’s not wonky, a good size and looks absolutely amazing. I could not recommend this more if I tried, go for it and enjoy!!

This the top item given to our cook to complete her chef's kit. Her words say that the blade is amazingly sharp, easy to handle and very easy to use on all foods. She loves the knives she has and no one else (including me) is allowed to touch them at all. The steal is made of GENBU 55-57 HRC steal. Dont waste your money by paying for other cheap copies, buy nothing but the best.

I gave up writing reviews, because Amazon never likes my tone and says I'm inappropriate. But... good "gosh" this is "bloomin" brilliant for the cost. I've spent "forking" loads of money out on brands like Global and I've been extremely disappointed. This knife is really nicely weighted and makes me feel like a kitchen guru. It's less than £30! It's not going to last a life time. But I've not spent 6x as much on something that will only last the same amount of time. Came in some rather "sheksy"packaging as well. It's a meaty "chopper"... I love me a meaty "chopper".

Un couteau de cuisine qui devient vite indispensable. Relativement léger pour une taille parfaitement adaptée, la lame arrondie facilite la découpe. Après une utilisation pendant 3 ans de manière régulière, ce couteau n'a jamais eu besoin d'être aiguisé et coupe encore comme au premier jour. Une qualité irréprochable pour un prix justifié.
