LUXEAR Dual-Sided Cooling Blanket for Hot Sleepers, Throw Size, Beige

I don't often write reviews, but this blanket is amazing and deserves every last star!! 🤩I am a very hot sleeper...even moreso now that I'm perimenopausal 😒 I can't sleep without some sort of cover, but regular sheets are still too hot for me in this Maryland summer weather. This year was particularly brutal, but this blanket was a GAME CHANGER... I only wish I'd purchased much sooner! It is silky smooth and extremely cool to the touch, but has a nice weight to it. The ombre grey color is also very pretty. ❤️❤️ The cat, who normally sleeps on the cool tile floor, also approves! 👍🏻 I'm sad that fall is here and I won't need it for much longer, but I'm thinking of purchasing another so I'll have 2 ready to go for next summer. Maybe a throw for the dog as well. 10/10 would recommend!!

I really love this light-weight blanket was a real sleep-saver for me. My husband can sleep with our fluffy winter-weight blanket even during the summer, but I struggle with with sleep with even the sheet over me in the heat, even with our air conditioning on. I realized that our bed was the actual problem. While we have a wonderfully firm mattress on the bed, about a year ago, my husband had complained that he couldn't seem to get comfortable on our bed. He insisted on putting memory foam topper on the bed and I didn't see any problem, so that's what we did. Big mistake. Between the memory foam making my body warmer , my fluffy blanket trapping my natural body heat, and my memory foam pillow, I found myself waking during the night, soaking wet and the bed covers soaked, too, everywhere my body touched them. I'm way past the age for hot flashes, so I had to figure out how to sleep "cooler. I changed to an all cotton, light-weight night gown, put a "pad" of several layers of pure cotton between myself, and the mattress, changed to pure cotton sheets, and bought a new pillow with a layer of gel infused foam on the surface and covered with a bamboo fabric. While all of this helped, I missed the gentle weight of my fluffly blanket. That was when I found this wonderful Luxear cooling blanket. I was skeptical, but was the best thing for myself. The blanket added the gentle weight, while allowing my body heat to escape and not form the sweat I had experienced before. At the same time, the blanket kept me from being chilled with from our air conditioning. I don't know how it works, but it does, and I am finally sleeping comfortably through the night and waking with a dry body and dry hair. I love this blanket, and I heartily recommend it to anyone who suffers from heat build up in their bed during the night. This blanket breathes, and I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. Oh, and I've found that it washes fine in my washer set on a a cold water, extra-gentle cycle and dries either by hanging (which I do) or by tumbling in the dryer - with dryer balls - on the "no heat" air cycle of the dryer. Dryer heat would likely be a disaster for it.

Got wrong color but blanket is cooling

I have tried various pillows sheets, and blankets to help keep me cool at night. I'm a horrible side sleeper and wake 6 to 7 times per night. I will wake up hot, even with a fan on me. It was 111 degrees this week here in Arizona, but running the HVAC runs up the bill pretty quickly. I was hesitant about this product as I like to be super cold while under blankets and only my face sticking out. Since paying 300 a month in power bills is not ideal, I bought this blanket hoping for the best. I was reluctant and didn't want to get my hopes up, again. The blanket is really thin so it is not heavy enough if you like to be cool,, but still like some weight on your blanket. Plus, it is slippery and will slide off the bed, so you have to tuck it or use in between a sheet and another blanket, like I do. To my surprise, this blanket stays super cool, albeit not cold, on BOTH sides, which is great for tossing and turning, like me. I use it over my sheet and I even added a second blanket to have that perfect balance of staying cool, but war. I can stay completely covered with my face sticking out, which helps me to lower my body temp and allows me to hit better (and longer) periods of deep sleep. Since I started using the blankets I am hitting 2 hours or more of uninterrupted sleep, allowing for better health and a clearer mind. I'm hoping that I might 6-8 hours of sleep, straight through. So far, so good, so my fingers crossed. My only personal drawback is that it only comes in two colors. Would love a red and black over the gray, but I'll take what I can get. UPDATE on 7/19/ I still use this every single night (won't do without it and even taking on the vacations) and I'm thinking about getting the larger blanket, albeit a king size set would be an awesome option. Did I mention they need to add black and RED? Highly recommend this. My grandkids will steal my blanket, when they stay over, so it is kid recommended as well.

This blanket is the most comfortable feeling one blanket I’ve owned! I will stand firm by that opinion. I have a rare nervous system disorder and it causes a lot of burning, heat, discomfort, and pain! I have tried material after material to help relieve some of the symptoms, mainly heat. Before this I used a Turkish blanket that didn’t bother my skin but would trap heat on me, and it was worn down from years of use that my skin began hurting to the point I could no longer use it. I use a lot of thin wicker clothing while not at work cause it’s soft against my skin, that’s what made me looked into wicker type bedding and found this one that had 2 options. Cooling and warming! I figured if one side didn’t work there’s always the other side I could try, I had nothing to loose by trying. I am a blanket person always have been, so to find one I can carry around while home means a lot. The quality is on one side is similar to the wicker clothing I use. Soft, Comfortable, and durable!! The other side is like a soft tee shirt. Soft, thin, and comfortable. Just imagine having a super soft athletic size blanket shirt to sleep with. That’s how I feel. The wicker side seems like better quality than the cotton side. Cotton wears down typically quicker than wicker. I’ve been using this about a month now and only wash on gentle cycle then tumble low in hopes it’ll last long, only time will tell. The corners all around this blanket are reinforced very well. The sizing is made to fit one person kinda like the size of a throw! I’ve tried both sides on separate nights and neither side caused any kind of irritation or heat. I sleep with my ac set at 64 degrees to help ease the heat from my nerves. (In other words I don’t get cold often) This helped keep my body at a desirable feeling temp and did not increase it from what I could feel. I am happy that I found a replacement blanket on the first try. When I get money saved up I plan to buy a back up blanket just in case. I have not found anything I don’t like about this blanket. However, if things change as time goes on, I will amend this review. If you are sensitive to touch or heat I would suggest giving wicker type material bedding a try, I can’t speak for all of them but this specific one and It works!

I am only giving a three star because it is soft, the color is nice, I like the weight of it and the quality feels High. I'm very disappointed because it does not stay cool at all after one or two minutes and that is being generous. I use it to put underneath me on my bed . I was hoping that I could buy bed sheets but there's no need now because this does not work. I got it on sale I will keep it but otherwise I would have returned it. My body is very hot and has always been that way. The heat in my room in the afternoon during this summer gets to 82°. I have a room air condition, and two fans. I was really excited and I can't tell you how upsetting it is for it not to work.

I'm not one to write reviews but this cooling blanket is REALLY TRULY COOL !!! I typically have the A/C plus a fan going. I can't stand to be over heated, especially while sleeping. However, like most people, I want some kind of cover, but even a sheet can be too much warmth. Same thing while in the recliner watching tv. Then - I stumbled across this blanket while looking for something else. Desperate for heat relief, I took a chance. I just got it a couple of days ago and folks.... IT'S LIFE CHANGING!!!! So much so that I had to briefly take it off of me while watching tv - because it was too cold !!! Yes, you heard me right - and I'm NOT exaggerating!! I still run a fan for air circulation which enhances the cooling affect. To pick up the blanket it seems heavy, but once you drape it over you it's super light weight. While watching tv (in my example), all you need do to "boost the cool" is to gently fluff the blanket with 2 fingers and you're back to cold. It's amazing! I can not comment about using it in a bed as I have to sleep in a recliner for health reasons. But I CAN say that it's keeping me very chilled. I just wish I discovered this at the beginning of this record hot summer.

I purchased this cooling blanket for my husband (the birthday space enthusiast) and it has honestly been a lifesaver. He sleeps very hot, and I used to freeze at night because he always had the air conditioning running. This blanket has made a huge difference for both of us. It actually keeps him cool, which means we no longer need the air conditioner on every night. At this point, the blanket has probably paid for itself just in the energy savings. It’s large, lightweight, soft, and very breathable, and the glow-in-the-dark stars are a fun touch without being bright or distracting. Despite the listing showing ARC 3.0, the outer sleeve packaging stated it was the maximum ARC chill factor of 5.0, and based on how well it works, I believe it. For laundering, I wash it on cold, gentle cycle inside a large washing bag, and then air dry. It washes really well and still feels brand new. This blanket is perfect for hot sleepers, kids or adults who love space, or anyone who needs cooling bedding without sacrificing comfort.

The blanket takes a bit of getting used to. It is just warm enough to use while having your air conditioner on, and when the weather is a bit cool. I really like it, though. Use it instead of a sheet and a summer blanket. Lovely product.

This blanket definitely helps one to keep cool but is also able to provide warmth, depending on which side you use. Love it! :)

It's not magic it won't stay cold forever but putting it in front of a fan for under a minute makes it cool again so I recommend it! And it will stay cool for a while! It also has a good amount of weight to it making it a lot more comfortable than a normal thin bedsheet. So for those hot nights, you don't feel "exposed" when you're only using it.
