Samsung C400 2.0ch 270W Soundbar Speaker (2023) - Bluetooth Soundbar with 4 Speakers, Surround Sound Expansion mode

I was looking for a soundbar as I found the TV speakers just weren't man enough. I shopped around for a few weeks and stumbled across this gem.I was slightly skeptical as some soundbars cost an absolute fortune and finding one for under £100 seemed too good to be true...A few months down the line and I do not regret buying this soundbar one bit! Easy to set up and looks great. I went down the direct cable route for best results (luckily I can hide the cable) and the sound quality is 10x better than the TV speakers and would never go back! Great base and surround sound effect.Also it easily connects to my phone via Bluetooth if I want to listen to music now and then.Only downside is the on/off and volume light etc is on the top of the soundbar so I'm unable to see any light however this does not bother me but may be deal breaker for others.

I personally enjoyed this Samsung C400 soundbar. I used it to enhance my personal theatre experience in my log cabin, this was to replace the built-in speakers inside the projector and other less powerful wireless bluetooth speakers that was inefficient for my needs.The unboxing was straightforward and the packaging was neat as any other Samsung product.I mounted this soundbar on the wall, however it took sometime as there was no guide or screws included to mount the soundbar. I briefly placed the soundbar on a flat surface and it seemed fine(no wobble), I can imagine most people would lay the soundbar flat next to their table / stand where their TV is. Otherwise there was enough clearance for the power cable.I personally like the remote as it is looks premium and feels high quality and comes with batteries, my only concerns regarding the remote is the volume nub / toggle durability when you press up (forward) / down(backwards) I fear overtime it might snap - I’m used to obvious physical volume buttons “+” and “-“ as the former of controlling the volume is unfamiliar to me, additionally if you press the volume nub you can mute the audio despite there already being a dedicated mute button (see video).The sound quality overall is superb and clear, you can adjust whether you prefer treble or bass.The soundbar itself can get very loud, I don’t have anything to measure the decibel output but the quality at higher volume is consistent and there’s no distortion.Lastly when pairing the soundbar I haven’t noticed any lag or delay when connecting to my projector. I watched numerous dialogue heavy scenes in films and shows and seems fine.This soundbar is ideal for the following use cases:-if you solely use bluetooth (connect and forget)-A TV with weak/ low quality speakers-A projector with a noisy fan and weak speakers-A small theatre setup

it paired with my Samsung tv very easily and the sound is great

Ok product. Have had a few issues connecting to my tv using bluetooth and sometimes have to turn on and off at the power to get working again. Sound is good however nothing special.

This Samsung C400 soundbar is an excellent buy, at a very good price. The name Samsung says it all “a quality build and performance”. Very easy to install, the setup using Bluetooth was achieved within seconds. The sound quality is very good in surround or standard setting.

Works as it should. Sound is good fit home use, but it's never going to be cinema quality unless you want to pay a fortune

Very disappointing! I have many samsung products in my home and this is by far the poorest. It's fairly simple to control via my Samsung TV but the sound quality is awful. I have had this soundbar for a month and have given it a good go but frankly it will be in the bin as soon as my new one turns up. I really love my Samsung products but this is nothing better than landfill. I won't sell it forward as I wouldn't feel good about selling on such rubbish. Come on Samsung, you must know this product is not fit for purpose.

bought for my father-in-law who has hearing aids, and was struggling to hear the TV - this has made a huge difference, the sound projects into the room much better than the standard speakers, and gives a really good sound range, with beefy base and clear high-notes. My only criticism is it occasionally doesn't connect with the TV when switched on, needing to be manually reconnected (probably only one in 200 times though so not a big deal)
