This scooter has both pros & cons. 1. Cons - It is somewhat flimsy. Both the tiller & the fenders are not sturdy & seem as if they may break under the least bit of pressure but appearances are deceiving. 2. There is really nowhere to transport any items other than yourself. When I go to the store, I get one of their small baskets, balance it on the floorboard with my foot & put needed items in it.Pros - 1. It is truly lightweight. I can stand it on ended folded up & lift it into or slide it out of my truck by myself when I want to go out without waiting for someone to take me. 2. Powerful enough to take my fat old body (220 lbs) up one of the ramps at an arena with no difficulty. And held a full charge for more than 4 hours while I attended a pro baseball game, visited concession & souvenir stands and went to the grocery store & pharmacy after. 3. While appearing flimsy & probably easily breakable, I've been pleasantly surprised to find nothing has broken while loading & unloading it from my truck alone multiple times. We'll see how it holds up to a plane trip in a couple of weeks.

I rented this same scooter from Special Needs at Sea on our 1 month cruise. It got me all over the ship + I had no problems on any of our shore excursions. Because this is foldable & lightweight the tour operators allow it. They say another person must load & unload it, but most of the time the operators did it for me.Because I had such a good experience with the scooter, I bought one for myself.

Dangerous causes tipping over ans speed control is poor.

I tried others mobility carts and just one this one. it is sturdy buy light weight and easy to fold so I can pop in in the truck of a car of a taxi cab

You can get it from a local dealer like I did and it is the same price. The reason why I bought it from them was because they are very helpful and they will be able to service it if I ever need to get it serviced. They also have sent a guy out to my apartment complex to teach me how to get through the door to the hallway and the door to my apartment. I’m looking forward to many more things to do now that I can get around here better. It’s easy to figure out how to drive around and just remember to take care not to go too fast around the corner. You can put the controls on the tortoise setting for the slow ride and the hare to go faster. I would recommend the slow speed to start with and then you can get used to it and then you can go faster if you need to. I’m sure it will probably be a learning curve but I think it will be worth it. You can fold it up easily and put it in the car or SUV. I recommend you use a small blanket to keep it in your car and then you can slide the feather scooter over the blanket to get it in the car easily.
