Sturdy, attractive pair of trellises for my tomatoes. Easy to assemble with a chose of different top pieces - I preferred the bird. Each year I gently guide my big boy tomatoes up inside the trellis enclosure as they grow. Tomatoes are easily accessible around the circumference, reaching in, and I never have to tie them in place. Stake verticals and frame do not burn tomatoes in hot sun, unlike metal trellises. Wood core with plastic outer of the vertical stakes provides sturdy support. The metal tips on the bottom base legs slide smoothly into tilled soil just after I have planted my tomatoes in the spring. I drop a wall of water (purchase separately) around the outside to protect the tomatoes from freezing in early spring. The round trellis makes it easy to remove water wall once danger of frost is past. For fall frost, the trellis shape makes it easy to put blanket bags over the tomatoes, trellis and all, to protect final ripening of late season tomatoes. I have successfully reused these trellises for several seasons. Do be careful about pressing them into any hard untilled soil. The core on the stakes can break.

Bought these to use as support for my snap peas. They are just a simple plastic assembly, nothing too fancy but for the price, they can't be beat. I used the bird finials (obviously) but I love having the option to change them out. I stuck them right into my raised grow beds and they seem like they will be sturdy enough to last a couple seasons.

The description title of "rust-proof metal" is entirely misleading. This product is not made of metal. Except for metal connectors between the upright rods, the entire thing is plastic. The metal connectors do not stay in place, but once they slip up into the hollow rod, there was no way to get them back out. I had no option except finding a work-around, because I was installing a container garden for my granddaughter and had only one day to complete the job. We ended up putting garden stakes beside the obelisk and reinforcing the structure by wiring stakes to keep the rods with the faulty connectors in place. This is one of the rare products that should have allowed zero stars. I guess it gets the one star for the attractive design.

I would have given it 3.5 if I could - to me the limiting factor is that big of a deal. This trellis works great as a temporary fixture during the holidays. Yes, it is plastic, but it comes together quickly and easily customizable for height. It will also come apart easily for storage. I'm writing the review as a point for anyone reading these to note that with regard to the finials on top - there are TWO birds, and ONE of each of the others. I didn't catch that (it's fairly clear, I just didn't catch it) as I ordered and I'm disappointed. Hate hate hate the birds, so I just figured I'd use one of the others. Yep, I can use ONE of each of the others, or none. FYI you can use none. I don't understand why the manufacturer would do this, but I would have considered another product if I would have realized it beforehand. Minor, but with all the choices out there, it is important enough to me to bring it up!

These are beautiful. Metal covered in plastic finish so it doesn’t rust. The fennel on top is plastic. They fit the Costco planters I have purchased over 2 different seasons. They are super lightweight but that may be a challenge in a windy environment. I’m very happy with my purchase and ordered more.

Easy to construct but fall apart easily

These are soooo cute! They are plastic so they aren’t the sturdiest but as long as you don’t have dogs jumping on them (like I do!) they should be fine! I planted tomatoes with these and they supported the tomatoes well! But my dog decided he would use the tiers as footholds while he tried to destroy my tomatoes so they did get a little wonky. But I much prefer these to the little metal cages you can get and they add a little air of “English garden” to any space!

Breaks apart easily. You can clip it back together but it continues to snap out of the connectors. Holds the plant up okay but not a very strong connection points causing the overall performance of the product to be less durable long term. I’d return if I didn’t already miss my window. It does seem strong enough for most plants just not super durable.

Bought this for a couple climbing plants that don't require moss poles. My English Ivy has taken well to it and has started doing what it does best! I love that I can adjust the height too. Easy to build (took maybe 5 minutes, and at least three of that was trying to keep cats out of the way as they tried to "help". Highly recommend 👍. Can't speak to outdoor use as it was bought specifically for houseplants, but I suspect it would be OK if kept in a sheltered area. Not sure it would stand up to Alberta winds if left exposed.

Arrived quickly, all parts intact. It was easy to put together - took about 20 minutes. Not the sturdiest obelisk but I think it will be fine. It's attractive and eye catching. I recommend this product for ease of assembly and value for the money. I would purchase again.

I purchased this trellis for my clematis plants to climb on. They're not the sturdiest, but do the trick. Not bad for the price.

Look great, easy to put together.
