My 20 month old had no problem doing this puzzle! Super cute and engaging

Bought this for our local library for children to play with. The puzzle pieces are hollow and not wood which I found to be more durable. The kids really enjoyed playing with it and the pieces are big enough for the young ones to interact with.

This is a nice puzzle, however, the pieces are hollow plastic, not solid chunky wood.

Best for a younger child

I am not mad the puzzle pieces are plastic since i work with older infants and they like nibbling on everything. I have had many puzzles that just have a thing coat of paint on the pieces and after two children playing with it they're already pealing.I tried bending them on purpose and they feel very sturdy even for older kids to play with! I think they will withstand the test of time!

Simple puzzle. Pieces can be used for fun play and for making shapes out of play doh.

I wasn't expecting the prices to be plastic but they are nice and durable, great for littles who still mouth toys. My son loves this puzzle.

The media could not be loaded.  Like all B. Toys products, imo, this one is constructed with quality materials and a thoughtful design. The colours are bright and pretty to look at and play with. The plastic shape covers are made of durable plastic and the big size is ideal to emphasize the shape. The thing I like most about these shapes is that they can serve a variety of functions (think moulds for sand, play dough or baking). The only drawback of this set (and the reason for the 4 stars), is the fact that it is missing basic emotions like "sad" and "surprised" (this one should have been included instead of shocked). Not too big a deal, because we will be using additional resources to teach emotions. At the time of purchase, this was about $8.50 (with prime registry discount), and well worth it. Great for gifting and despite the lack of some important emotions, I would definitely recommend!

He's 15 months old, puzzle is colourful and pieces are a good size for him to grab.
