We have accidentally left the lid of our brand new pressure cooker on the induction hub without turning the heat off - sure enough, the control block melted and we were very distressed about this. I have searched for genuine replacement parts for hours, since the official website quoted a different serial number for our pressure cooker (10l Fissler Vitaquick Pressure Cooker (600-810-10-000/0)) than the one we ended up ordering. Finally, I contacted the official Fissler Customer Service, since we were not 100% certain whether this one will work, but this seemed to be the only suitable one based on the photos (the screw design and length is slightly different on the one other two Fissler control blocks that are sold online). They confirmed that this was the perfect part, and we can go ahead and order it. It would have taken a long time to order this directly from Fissler, so we were really happy to have this as a quick and easy replacement part. This is an original Fissler replacement part from an official Fissler partner company (you can find their website online as well). The part is super easy to swap, and it arrived super fast! We were very happy for this. Now the pressure cooker looks a little different because of the blue vent design (originally all black), but this is the price we paid for not being careful with our new cooker - we'll be sure to watch out from now on!

Well - it took some time to get there - but the Valve works for my pressure cooker (now I feel complete again...). There were also replacement rubber gaskets etc. So it is really complete. Very easy to change. And it works. Well overall the price is substantial (given that you might find an inexpensive pressure cooker for the same cost) - but it is quality therefore: what to do?!
