Great Product - Great Seller
I installed this in my skid loader and I love it. The camera and monitor seem to be very well made and durable for my application. It works so nice as it's now easy to be able to see when backing up. Installation was a breeze. I mounted the monitor, hanging it from the top of the cab with the u-mount bracket that was provided. Powered it from a keyed power wire in the cab headliner. I was able to enclose all the wiring in the headliner for a clean installation. A glance up at the 7inch, 1080P monitor, which provides exceptional clarity, provides reassurance you're not about to back into something or someone. I did make an adjustment to the camera position aiming it down, the picture shows it more level. Doing so has allowed me to configure the onscreen g-y-r lines more precisely to align with the width of the loader tires. I've recommended to others already and I'm considering another for an up coming project. Prefect product for my need.

Used to monitor my horse in the trailer
I ordered this camera to monitor my horse(s) while riding in the trailer. The picture quality is excellent and I mounted a second camera on the rear of the trailer for backing. The monitor comes with two bracket choices and is pretty easy to install. On my installation, (2016 Silverado crew cab), I already had a backup camera system on the truck and will use this system only for the trailer. I used a windshield mount using the small bracket in an inverted position. The kit comes with adheasive foam which is fine for a dash mount, but I not suitable for a windshield mount. I purchased 3M VHB (very high bond) tape to attach the bracket to the windshield with excellent results. I also purchased several additional 10 Meter cables and rubber dust caps to protect the cable ends when not pulling the horse trailer. I ran two cables to the rear of the truck and two cables in the horse trailer (one inside to observe the horse, one to the rear for the backup camera). The most difficult part of the job was pulling the cables through the rubber boot in the firewall next to the steering knuckle. I also purchased a roll of 1/2" diameter split conduit to protect the cables and used zip ties to attach it along the inside of the frame rail to the rear of the truck. Likewise, I attached the video cables to the power cord on the trailer with zip ties and then followed the cable tray in the trailer to each of the cameras. The kit also includes a short set of leads that connect the power and ground for the monitor as well as a fuse link. This was easy to install in my Chevrolet as I found a hot 1/4" spade terminal in the drivers side fuse panel. A wired system like this is much more reliable than wireless and takes only a minute to connect. There are 2 video channels in the monitor and a small remote to switch between cameras, or you can use the physical buttons on the monitor.

Great customer service they did exactly what they promised.
The camera and monitor feels very rugged. I had camera installed on skid steer by equipment dealer. They advised it was pretty easy install. I have used it and mounts are stable. Camera and monitor has little to no distortion. During operation and rough rides camera does great. For price this is great camera. I want a sharper image with more detail due to work environment. I spoke with Katelyn at manufacturer and expressed my concerns. She suggested camera/monitor upgrade and has been extremely helpful in assisting me. I am going to upgrade and am waiting on new unit(s). Will post results and photos of new cameras. New camera and monitor came in. Took had to change out wire from monitor to Y for cameras as it was different than original. New SY01 1080p so much clearer than first one. Thanks again Katelyn.

Good product, solid seller
I picked this one after looking at dozens of others and reading hundreds of reviews. Prices ranged from $59 to $200 on products that looked almost identical. I was wondering if they were all from the same factory and I should just buy the cheapest one. Eventually I decided the cases were all the same or very similar but the guts probably were not. The cheaper ones all use AV cable which is good if you already have old components which I did not (you can get adapters). The 4 pin "aircraft cable" seemed to be a higher grade. Most of the cheaper ones had scary one star reviews indicating failure shortly after Amazon return window closing. The sellers of these cheaper models had no or bad response to the claimed 1 to 2 year warranty. One $87 model I nearly bought had over 100 5* reviews but 2 1* reviews indicated early failure and no response to warranty and suspected fake reviews. I think they have rooms full of people in China pounding out fake 5* reviews, making it very difficult to evaluate products (you have to wonder if they are also putting fake 1* reviews on their competitors). I have started checking seller's ratings and have noticed the ones with plunging recent ratings are probably manipulating the system. This seller has been around longer and had a solid current rating so I decided to pay the price. The system arrived in a very nice padded box and installed easily on an old 29' RV I am renovating. As others have noted running the wire is 90% of the install. The 50' wire made it with 6-8' extra coiled up. Upon start up there seemed to be a problem with the monitor. The seller responded quickly and sent me a replacement. All is well with the system, I have not driven the RV yet and it is too soon to speak to durability. I will update if anything changes significantly.

Excellent Rearview and Backup Camera System, No Doubt
After reading numerous blog posts and the reviews here on Amazon I was confident in my decision to purchase this camera system. Now that I have completed the simple install and used it for over 2000 miles in a wide variety of conditions I can say that I am very pleased. I am using this system in a truck with camper as my rearview mirror. With the camper in place the stock mirror was useless. I mounted the camera to the rear of the camper using the supplied bracket and 3M VHB tape (I did not want to use screws in this situation). The 3M tape has held up very well and the mount is solid. First, the installation was simple and straightforward. Once the camera was mounted I simply routed the supplied cable into the cab area and hooked the power to a source and ground to the chassis. The rest was plug and play. The field of view and color rendition are excellent and the image sharp and clear. All in all the performance is excellent and the value outstanding since similar systems are upwards of $500. I would highly recommend this camera system.

Nice unit but missing some labeling.
The daylight image is good, but the night IR image is good. The instructions are ok but a bit vague. The yellow camera connectors are not labeled 1-2 so some trial and error to find camera 2 connector for the default camera display. If the power/camera cable is to be hidden, verify you have selected #2 before buttoning things up. I temporarily wired it to 12V and identified the default camera connector and marked it. I had another small issue but their excellent customer service promptly resolved it. I was extremely impressed with Susan.

Simplest installation
Purchased another brand and had to return it due to poor picture quality and cheaper parts. It was $60, so I decided to step up to this one since it looked better built, was not the generic monitor that everyone branded as theirs and had shielded cables. The installation was easy. Literally two wires to connect. I was able to connect to my 'cigarette lighter' (old school term)/12 volt outlet (new school term) and then it was just a matter of routing cables through the vehicle. Fired right up without issues and I am happy with the product. Menus are easy to follow (unlike the other one I purchased) and the instructions were deceivingly easy. Everyone should write such straight forward instructions. The video cable they include is long, but I put this on a van so I will have no issues finding a place to hide the excess. Excited to finally be able to see better as I back up. As a final note they tell you how to install it so it only comes on when in reverse and how to have it on all of the time. Both are very simple installations.

Gets the job done
So, I finally installed the backup camera despite ordering this system months ago. The quality of the image is adequate but not fantastic. The night vision is passable and the range of view is not super but, for looking at what is behind you (especially if you plan to back up to a trailer), it will help (no parking lines though). My main reason for purchasing this system is i) the larger screen (important for a good view of objects) and ii) the purported IP69 rating of the camera. This last one is a wait-and-see for long-term durability but living in a country with wide temperature fluctuations, it is important to have a camera that is highly weather resistant. There are no instructions for installation but there are plenty of helpful videos on YouTube. The screen is functional with good sized buttons (not a touch screen which I like) but it consumes power even when the truck is off (the buttons are backlit and stay lit even with no key). Now I do like to add another camera (the system can accept two) for a front view. I have a Ford 2006 DRW with a bed canopy. I needed a backup camera because backing up can be dangerous. When I did finally manage to wire this together, adding the bracket posed a problem : the bracket bolts that come with this are useless. They are not long enough. So be prepared to jury-rig something. In the end, it is working and I am content with the quality. I will say this... the seller makes this a worthwhile purchase. Excellent service! UPDATE 1 (Sep 2019): system is still working. Again, service from the company is excellent as they replaced a broken part (the plastic visor) and they gave me a 2nd camera with 15 feet of cable for free. This made the cost (about $250 Cad) of the initial purchase more worthwhile. Interesting - I did end up getting parking lines on my monitor somehow but i) they disappeared (don't know what I did) and ii) they are pretty useless for me. Oh.. I also installed a kill switch for the system that shuts off power completely to the monitor/camera system even when the key is no longer in the ignition. Otherwise, the battery drains (albeit slowly) because the monitor still draws power from the battery (the buttons remain backlit with key out of the ignition). It is a bit of a hassle as sometimes I forget to turn it off and come hours later to see that it was still on, draining the battery. Update: (Dec 2019) Cameras still work. The night vision is still working. Just keeping them clean is a bit challenging. I do not know if it is plastic or glass covering the front... A minor point that I need to figure out but I still do not regret purchasing this unit. Update (Feb 2020): The night vision is pretty much useless in winter-like conditions. Too much glare likely from some condensation/ice/snow (I believe on the outside). I do not think this is a failing of the tech as on cold days (well below freezing), the camera works fine for day but at night, there is too much glare, likely from the night lighting of the camera being reflected back to the lens by snow/ice/salt spray on the camera glass.
