Nice, well made door lock sets. However, if your pocket door is 1 3/8" thick or less (mine are 1 3/8"), these lock kits will not come with screws required to install. Contrary to another review that states the manufacturer will now include these screws is not true. Be prepared for a run to hardware store. Only reason this really bugs me is I am, at a minimum, one hour away from the nearest Ace and 2 1/2 hours away from the nearest Lowes or Home Depot.Update: Manufacturer response was very quick and beyond expectation. Offered refund, screw shipment, and other considerations. They really stepped up. I had already bought the required screws, which buy the way are metric, size M4x12.

Just got this today to replace another brand that has failed yet again. First the striker plate that goes into the door jam was too small to fit the opening. The screw holes were too close to be able to mount it where the latch could engage. If it were a new door frame it would have been fine. I had to reuse the existing plate and it works but not as intended as only the top latch engages. Second, the screws that attach the two latch plates together are too long for a standard size door! I had to cut about 1/8” off the smallest two screws with a hacksaw. They do give you 3 different pairs but all were too long. I’m hoping this one will last as it’s a non name brand… although expensive. The one I replaced was a common name brand in door locks and it lasted about 8 months. The first lock I had lasted almost 15 years and I replaced it with exactly the same and that one lasted about a month. Quality control is really bad on these cheap products.Update: I was contacted by the company and given a full refund. Can’t argue with that. They also offered to send the correct screw size for my 1 3/8” thick standard door. Plus they said they would now include the smaller screws in the package when a lock is purchased. Good enough for me. 5 stars

Very well made product, but it does work in doors with pre-drilled holes. The pictures all show the latch coming off the center of the main body, but in reality it is off-set, and you will need to buy an undrilled door and drill your own holes to make this work.Disappointed in the product's description/pictures.

Still trying to get the lock to latch and cannot see why!

The handle on my refrigerator made a dent in the stainless steel so we swapped it out for this and it's perfect. Looks great too.

I installed this handle on a pocket door. The finish of the handle was very poor due to inadequate manufacturing standards. The red/green lock/unlock indicator sticker fell off on the first use. I was expecting better quality for the money.

Very high quality pocket door lock. I have replaced another (much flimsier) lock from the competition. This one is rock solid though. Installation is a bit complicated - but the end result is absolutely worth it.

I liked that the locking mechanism sticks out on both top and bottom opposed to one side. DO not buy the pocket door locks with only a locking mechanism that sticks out on one side because if your door is not perfectly aligned it will come out of place and the lock will not engage. Trust me. I installed that type first and messed it up so bad trying to get it right that I had to replace my door jamb. Get this one with the prongs (locking mechanisms) sticking out on top and bottom.
