This universal charger is doing what is expected.

This is a nice item if you are lacking a micro or mini cable and is a powerful power supply. However it does not provide a C power ending and that is unfortunate.

I had an older Black & Decker weed eater that I thought was broken and threw away the charger but kept the weed eater itself. I found out that it was not broken and just needed to have a slight adjustment. I got this charger because it has an attachment for just about anything out there made that needs charging. As soon as this came in, I opened the box and the charging adapter piece that was already in the charger fit right into my weed eater. The red light went on the weed eater meaning it was charging! Took the same time to charge as the original charger and finished its cycle. I now have a working weed eater that was useless. I also am well armed to charge almost anything else with the 9 (count’em) charging head adapters. Note, there are no standard usb, usb type-c or lightning charging head adapters in this kit.

I LOVE that this charger has all the extra adapters for it. I can use it for many different things in my house. It works well and charges well. Shipped fast. Easy to use. Great buy

I try to buy USB-C devices only now, but some items are stuck in time. Especially those with barrel charging ports. This works great for my needs.I had a power adapter die, and this stepped in to replace it. Found the right size barrel, worked immediately.It is ETL certified so I don't worry about the house burning down.This also comes with old fashion mini USB and micro USB adapters for charging older devices, which is fantastic. I haven't seen any issues with overcharging, but to be safe with older devices I try to watch for a green light and disconnect the charger.Overall, this has found a permanent location on a bench where I use my barrel plug device, and can bring my older micro-USB devices to be charged. Happy to recommend.

"Universal" in that it has a good selection of very common tip sizes - all of which can only be used on 5V devices, which as it turns out is one heck of a lot, including mini and micro USB devices.I wanted this as a replacement for a Cisco CP-DSKCH-8821 power supply, for which I am happy to report it works PERFECTLY - including simultaneously charging an additional external battery. The original charger was rated for 2 amps, this one can provide 3.The plastics and PVC coatings used for this power adapter won't win any quality awards, but nothing feels excessively cheap or poor quality. The only real downside is that you can't change the polarity of the tips like you can on other adapters, but that might be a good thing since this has USB tips that cannot be reversed without damaging your USB electronics.Recommended!
