Build quality is great, only complaint is the 3 pin cable is not long enough, but they supply adapters that increase the length. Their is a small buzzing noise also at about 2000 rpm, not entirely sure if it's it vibrating or if it is just the fan its self.I would recommend this fan if it wasn't for the noise issue, BUT if you do not care about noise then this is just for you. On highest rev's it sounds a little quieter than a hoover - no joke.It arrived promptly, and well packaged, in first in a brown Amazon box, with paper to protect it, then a thin plastic cover over both separate fan boxes. Then, once that is taken off there is another thin but hard plastic box protecting the fan, inside there is the converter hidden away and the main fan. No hiccups opening and no troubles trying to get in the packaging. Looks neat and tidy.Pro's- Good build quality for price- Pushes more than enough air (cooled my pc to about 19 degrees*.- Can be quiet on lower "rev's" (although my Asus supplied fan controller didn't let me get it down to 1000 rpm, so i'm stuck with 2000 rpm)- Supplied Screws and a 4 pin converter.Cons- Bulky (WxHxD - 120x120x38mm)**- Short 3 pin cable- Very loud at high/medium "revs" (3000rpm - 2000rpm)*Based upon Asus suite II temperature monitor.**this was my fault for not realising how fat the diameter was.I must also say that Scythe have so far been kind regarding returning of items, I will comment back what the outcome of this is. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Read up *by R***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 August 2012* I used this for my first computer build.With my headphones on + music playing I can't hear the fan at max rev.But it is very big.
