kate spade new york Alphabet Pendant Necklace, 20" + 3" Extender

Love this necklace! I had bought an expensive initial necklace at Target and loved it. Unfortunately I lost it so I was looking for something similar. Something that could be warn everyday. That is why I love this necklace it is well made, beautiful but isn't fancy and can be warn with anything!

I rated these necklaces a generous 4 stars because my granddaughters loved them. Anything Kate Spade is "huge" for my two older granddaughters, 22 and 18.... Kate Spade being very "hot" right now. However to me, a grandmother unimpressed by the designer's name, these necklaces are greatly overpriced at $58. I probably would have rated two or three stars if based on value.For my third granddaughter who is 10 years old, I bought a virtual look-alike on Amazon for $14. Seeing the necklaces worn by all three girls on Christmas, it was virtually impossible to tell one from the other. The younger one doesn't know Kate Spade from Princess Leia so she could care less if the brand has "cachet." She was totally thrilled by it.

I bought this thinking I would slip the pendant off this chain and put it on a nicer silver chain. Be aware that because of the size of the jump rings, this is not possible (without modification). The ring that holds the pendant on the necklace is too small to slide over the ring that attaches the extension/clasp. Technically, this is a good thing since it will keep your pendant from accidentally sliding off when unclasped, but if you were wanting to change chains you're going to need some tools to do so. I think the pendant part is small but cute, but for the price (gotta pay for the name!) I'm really disappointed in the chain.

I love this necklace! That being said I am questioning its "Kate Spade" authenticity. The chain recently broke so I took it to my local jeweler and he informed me it was made of a metal he has never seen before, most definitely not sterling silver. I do wear it all the time and it has not turned colors. I get compliments on it all the time but now I have a bad feeling about it.

Bought one of these for all my nieces - they all loved it :)Personal touch with the Initial and also the "one in a million" message on the back is really sweet.

Husband gifted me this with my sons initial and I love it so so much. I wear it everyday and it feels super durable! Chain has great length variation options!

The necklace is great- but I’m not crazy about the packaging. Makes it look cheap- and it wasn’t cheap! Love the saying on the other side “you’re one in a million”. It was a pleasant surprise. It’s a birthday gift for my 13 year old niece- she gets it today- hope she loves it. Besides the packaging- I love the necklace.

Kate spade necklace is very nice will be giving it to my Granddaughter as a Christmas gift.

It’s just ok. I was expecting more. The clasp on the chain is heavy so it always falls toward the bottom by the pendant and I always have to adjust it. Also you cannot take off the pendant as I was going to put it on another chain I have to prevent that problem so now I just can’t wear it.
